Visit to Dachau Concentration Camp
Our tour guide Sam had extensive knowledge of the history of Dachau before, during and after WWII. The visit would not have been as meaningful without his detailed account of the Dachau concentration camp story. It was extremely helpful the way he planned the travel from Munich to the site. An extra bonus was having lunch in the town of Dachau. This tour is highly recommended.

Best tour guide and experience
Our tour guide was Sam and he was amazing. Really informative and more than happy to answer any questions. The meeting time allowed us to miss most the big crowds. Very respectful throughout the whole experience for the memorial site. Would highly recommend.

Excellent detailed tour
From start to finish this tour was fantastic. Our guide Sam was informative, friendly and answered all of our questions. We felt that Sam helped us explore the sight with sensitivity and empathy focusing on the stories of those incarcerated within it's walls. The addition of the opportunity to see the town of Dauchau after visiting the memorial was an excellent addition to the tour, particularly as over lunch we were able to digest and discuss what we had seen and unpick this further, rather than jumping straight on the S Bahn back to Munich. It gave us time to reflect upon and process what we had seen. A huge thank you to Sam, as his knowledge and guide skills were exceptional.
