Not entirely satisfied

So we did this tour last week, saw Durrells Farm and Crab Lake, but that wasn't really spectacular. Also pretty sure that the total distance wasn't 30km, it seemed much less. At the end of the tour Dimitrios, although a nice chap, was in a hurry to get back because of an appointment a bit later. So, not really satisfied with this tour.

Response from the operator: Hello Frank, I fully understand the relative perspective of every person about what that person sees on a tour. So I have nothing to say more but feel sorry you weren't fully satisfied with the scenery. I totally respect that and nothing can change it. The scenery always remains the same no matter how many times we do the tour or how many Km it is.. As a distance, it was 26.38Km, recorded on GPS passed on to Strava. So not "much less". And thats because you hotel was near by the area and I had to do what I considered best for the route. I feel that plus or minus 3Km is not the point of a tour. After all it is not a competition. It is for fun. I am really sorry you dint have fun as much I would wish. Also according to Strava our average speed on the ebikes was 19Km/h. Keeping in consideration that the Elevation gain was no more than 550m, I really cannot see any hurry in what we did. On the contrary I can recall you and your girlfriend / wife asking me to go faster than what I was going and that did happened just 6-8 Km from the start. So I don't feel I was the one in a hurry taking in consideration your respected request. That is to clear better the matter. For the rest I wish you better tours in the future no matter with whom. Good combination of a custom trip, biking and excitements

It was a great tour, even customized. Dimitrios created a perfect plan for us, a great tour to the Durrell's place, as well as some challenge and exhibition for the biking. I biked a lot for years, but then skipped some years.. so we're not trained bikers anymore. But the e-MBTs did their job, we felt ourselves as sportsmen. :) And the reflexes came back for the end of the tour, so it definitely made us to think on how to continue with biking at home too, to restart that again, professionally. The tour is a good sightseeing opportunity too, as well as its a special feeling to bike in many areas, from dirt to tarmac, from unnamed roads and villages to Corfu's old town streets, everything was on plate. Dimitrios looks for our health too a lot, to drink enough water, are we still safe, OK, etc. He's a great guide by that aspect too. There will be a film also about the trip so that is also a great plus! Not to say, D. knows what real hospitality is, from the start he's very friendly, responsive and listens to his visitors!

Very nice e-MTB private tour. Interesting route, combining road and offroad. Dimitrios & Alex were focusing on our security, our health (it was a very hot day) and our FUN. Thanks!
