About this experience
This ride takes us in an undulating loop to the unusual village of Setenil de las Bodegas - 'village of the cavehouses'. Your guide will lead you on a mix of easy tracks and quiet roads, away from traffic, through rural farmland and past woodland, hillside vineyards and acres of olive groves. In Setenil you will see “cavehouse” dwellings built into the rock, which are now houses, shops and cafes. We enjoy a short refreshment stop in one of these cafes before heading back up the hill to Ronda.

Great self-guided EBike ride, accommodating company
We (3 adults) were interested in a self guided ebike tour while in Ronda. Heather was prompt and patient in answering all my questions. In the end we had a wonderful self-guided EBike ride from Ronda to Senetil with a winery stop with easy-to-follow directions programmed for us in an app we downloaded. Since our tour took all day Wayne even shuttled us back to train station area after dropping the bikes at his shop near closing time. Would highly recommend them if you are considering biking in this area.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your very nice review. It was a pleasure helping you arrange the birthday bike ride and that it all worked out nicely and you had a great day at the Bodega and Setenil. Hope to see you again someday

Great Day Out in Andalusia
Heather was very attentive right from booking even when I got a bit confused with trip advisor emails telling me I should be in Malaga. Our driver Santi was excellent and talkative on pickup and delivery back to Ronda. The course is very scenic but ironically reminded me of home in West Australia with the dry rugged landscapes. Of course we don't have rows of Olives groves and awesome white walled quaint Spanish villages!. No problem finding our way around once I got the hang of keeping the arrow on the line on the Garmin screen. The E-bikes are in excellent condition, but they are hard tails and the gravel tracks, while not anything technical, are pretty bumpy. Was not a problem for my wife and I as seasoned mountain bikers, but for roadies or infrequent cyclists, bring a pair of knicks if you can. The going (profile) is pretty much flat with one tiny climb coming out of Setenil. I kept my bike on 0 power or 1 to get some exercise value. Crank up the power to 3 if you want to cruise. Took us just under 4 hours from pickup back to hotel. Plenty of photo stops and a lunch stop. Oh, word of advice. Ride all the way through Setenil, before you choose your cafe stop. Not that we didn't like our little cafe, but there are a lot more eateries towards the other end as you come in to choose the one that suits your preference. Ride back through if need be. Would definitely recommend for active tourists.

Great ride!
Heather was great answering questions and getting us set up. We really enjoyed the agricultural type tour with our stop in Sentenil. She made everything easy!

Amazing electric bike trip
We absolutely loved this trip. Heather picked us up promptly at the train station and then we picked up the bikes. They explained everything clearly and the electric bikes were excellent and in great condition. The best thing is that Wayne had the route all planned and mapped so it was easy to follow it on the Garmin. The trip itself was wonderful on tracks - passing next to fields and olive groves. Stunning scenery. There was a small section of road. I have never used an electric bike before and had never cycled that far before. It was absolutely achievable on an electric bike and it was really comfortable . This was one of our favourite days of our holiday in Ronda and I thoroughly recommend it. Wayne and Heather are lovely people to deal with.
Response from the operator: Wow, its so nice to hear how much you enjoyed the tour we provided for you on the electric bikes. The electric bikes really are very good and make the whole experience a fun day out even if you do not ride regularly. Hope to see you again sometime in the future. Wayne

Wonderful way to explore the surroundings
Santi picked us up at Ronda station and Wayne brought us back. We got some e-bikes and explanation about the bikes and round trip. All very well and friendly done by both Santi and Wayne. Thank you so much. We enjoyed the bike ride tremendously. Easy and beautiful surroundings.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your great review. We try our very best to ensure you have a trouble free day out riding our bikes. It is good to hear you had a great time. Wayne

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
e-Bike (Self-Guided) Setenil Circular - 41km Easy: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does e-Bike (Self-Guided) Setenil Circular - 41km Easy cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does e-Bike (Self-Guided) Setenil Circular - 41km Easy take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is e-Bike (Self-Guided) Setenil Circular - 41km Easy worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule e-Bike (Self-Guided) Setenil Circular - 41km Easy?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is e-Bike (Self-Guided) Setenil Circular - 41km Easy suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book e-Bike (Self-Guided) Setenil Circular - 41km Easy?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does e-Bike (Self-Guided) Setenil Circular - 41km Easy start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
