Albania was one of my favourite contries that year.

I had the pleasure of doing a few days in Albania with Adam from Albania Express Travel. We walked around in Tirana and the knowledge he has about his country's capital blew me away. We also did a day trip to Kruje with a stop in Fushë-Kruje on the way. It was very interesting to see nature and hear about the history of the country. And again, it wouldn't have been the same without Adam. All in all, I am absolutely sure that he played a big part of me falling in love with Albania... which I honestly hadn't expected. I'm a full-time traveller and Albania was one of the favourite countries that year. I want to go back and see much more – and I am sure that my action in preparing for that is to contact Albania Express Travel. I did three episodes of my podcast about my visit. Enjoyable and Imformative Tour

While waiting to be picked up for the tour, we were expecting to join a big group. However, we were the only ones going. Our own private tour! Adam the tour guide, from the start right through to drop off was excellent. He couldn't do enough for us. Not only did he have lots of detailed information about the towns we visited he also gave us tips and hints for places not included in the tour. We also had an off agenda stop at 'George Bush Town' (Google it). Adam also helped us buy a hand made rug to take home (something that we wanted to do when arriving in Albania) - particularly helpful in Kruje with so many shops offering their wares. In terms of the places visited, Kruje was my favourite - a quaint and picturesque town with a castle and fairly cool Skanderbeg museum. Durres was nice and seeing the old amphitheatre enjoyable. We enjoyed the tour so much that we booked another tour with Adam to go to Berat the next day. A worthwhile and enjoyable tour!
