Knowledgable, Funny and Enthusiastic Tour
Not knowing much about the whiskey history of Dublin, I booked a tour at Teeling. I’m so glad I did because our tour guide, Marc, was incredibly knowledgable, personable and entertaining. He shared the rich history of whiskey distilling in the Golden Triangle, its challenges, and its recent comeback. It’s clear how passionate Marc and everyone at Teeling are about what they do. I would definitely recommend the tour and Marc to others.

Don’t miss this experience.
Marc was a great tour guide! He was so interesting and fun. The tour itself is fascinating, as is the tasting. Even a non-whisky drinker will get something out of it.

Bang for your Buck!
What a wonderful tour!! Marc was an incredible guide and gave a fantastic presentation on the history of Whiskey in Ireland. For 22€ each we had an amazing time walking around the distillery & got to try a delicious whiskey cocktail (and i’ve never even tried whiskey before this experience). Highly recommend for your day in Dublin.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Experience – Daisy Made Our Visit!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Outstanding Experience – Daisy Made Our Visit!** What an absolutely fantastic experience at **Teeling Whiskey Distillery** in Dublin! As part of our sailing adventure aboard **Halo**, we have been visiting distilleries throughout our travels and have built up a lovely whisky and whiskey collection along the way. For us, visiting a distillery isn't simply about tasting the whiskey — it's about the **people, the stories, the knowledge and the whole experience**. And this is where **Daisy at Teeling was exceptional.** ⭐ From the moment we arrived, Daisy made a genuine effort to engage with us, find out what we already enjoyed and understand the type of whiskey we were looking for. She didn't simply try to sell us a bottle — she listened, chatted with us about whiskey and took the time to help us discover something that would be genuinely special to us. That level of **customer service, enthusiasm and personal attention** completely made our experience. In fact, it was Daisy's knowledge and the effort she made to understand us that ultimately led us to purchase a **very special bottle of Teeling Whiskey for our collection** — something we'll take home from our Halo adventure and enjoy with some wonderful memories attached to it. 🥃⚓️ Having now visited many distilleries, both large and small, we know just how much difference the people representing a brand can make. **Daisy is an absolute credit to Teeling.** Outstanding customer service, a wonderful welcome and a memorable experience from beginning to end. **Thank you, Daisy — you absolutely made our visit. We'll think of Teeling, Dublin and our sailing adventure every time we look at that special bottle!** 🥃❤️⚓️ Highly recommended — **5 stars without hesitation.**

Why this scores 91
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dublin Teeling Whiskey Distillery Guided Tour and Tasting 1 Hour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.
How much does Dublin Teeling Whiskey Distillery Guided Tour and Tasting 1 Hour cost?
+
Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dublin Teeling Whiskey Distillery Guided Tour and Tasting 1 Hour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.
Is Dublin Teeling Whiskey Distillery Guided Tour and Tasting 1 Hour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 91 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 1,947 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dublin Teeling Whiskey Distillery Guided Tour and Tasting 1 Hour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dublin Teeling Whiskey Distillery Guided Tour and Tasting 1 Hour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dublin Teeling Whiskey Distillery Guided Tour and Tasting 1 Hour?
+
Around 681 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dublin Teeling Whiskey Distillery Guided Tour and Tasting 1 Hour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dublin?
+
On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
