Great evening out
This was our favorite thing we did in Dublin. Shane is a great guide. The three pubs were cozy and welcoming, even in a busy Friday night. I highly recommend this tour!

My husband's favorite memory
This was a great evening, lots of fun and laughs with fellow travelers as well as with locals at the pubs we visited outside Dublin. The road trip alone is fascinating, lovely countryside, narrow twisty roads, beautiful hedgerows and stone walls. But the absolute best part was our fantastic driver, Sean, who kept the party going! If you want to do something a bit different and enjoy a really good time, don't miss this trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you Barbara_M for joining our tour & for taking the time to review your experience. It's a delight to know our tour was a highlight for you & your husband. Thanks again Rural Pub Tours Team

Fantastic !
Hi myself and Andrew had the most amazing evening shared with another couple from America, Aaron and Dee Dee. Shane our tour guide was a delight to meet, very funny, knowledgeable and friendly. The pubs we visited were so welcoming, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, bit of a heavy head the next day and I was introduced to my now favourite drink Dingle Gin! Thanks Shane for a great time love Jane and Andrew xxx
Response from the operator: Hi Jane & Andrew Lovely meeting you both & thrilled to hear you had a fantastic experience on our tour. Thanks for being part of it & for taking the time to post a review. Many thanks Rural Pub Tours Team

Excellent tour!
This small-group pub tour was one of the highlights of our trip. The intimate size made it feel personal and relaxed, and we got to really enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Every pub had its own local charm, and it was clear these were places we never would have found on our own. Our guide created such an easygoing, friendly atmosphere and it felt less like a tour and more like a fun night out with locals. Great drinks, great conversation, and a true taste of the neighborhood scene. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an authentic pub experience without the big tourist crowd.
Response from the operator: Thank you Dixie D for taking the time to review your tour with us & we're delighted you had an excellent time and you loved all the aspects of the experience. Thanks for choosing our tour and for taking time to share your experience with others. All the best Rural Pub Tours Team

Unforgettable Experience – Do Not Skip This Tour!
We did the Rural Pub Tour with Shane for my brother in law’s 50th birthday weekend and it was hands down one of the best nights of our entire trip. This isn’t a touristy pub crawl. This is real - cozy local pubs, incredible music, hilarious moments, meeting locals, making new friends, and laughing all night long! Shane is an absolute legend and somehow made every stop better than the last, and every pint came with a story. If you don’t like making the kind of memories you’ll still be talking about years from now — this is NOT the tour for you. 😉 If you do like all of that? Book it immediately! 10/10 would recommend! Sláinte to Shane & the Rural Pub Tour 🍀🍻
Response from the operator: Thanks meaghano41 for choosing our tour for your brother laws birthday celebrations when you visited Dublin. Glad to hear our tour is a memory you'll never forget. Thanks again for the detailed review & we hope to welcome you back in the near future. Many thanks Rural Pub Tours Team

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dublin Mountain Pub Tour ( small group Pub Crawl max 15 people): questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.
How much does Dublin Mountain Pub Tour ( small group Pub Crawl max 15 people) cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dublin Mountain Pub Tour ( small group Pub Crawl max 15 people) take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.
Is Dublin Mountain Pub Tour ( small group Pub Crawl max 15 people) worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 168 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dublin Mountain Pub Tour ( small group Pub Crawl max 15 people)?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Dublin Mountain Pub Tour ( small group Pub Crawl max 15 people) suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dublin Mountain Pub Tour ( small group Pub Crawl max 15 people)?
+
Around 59 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dublin Mountain Pub Tour ( small group Pub Crawl max 15 people) start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dublin?
+
On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
