Book this Tour!
Our guide, Daniel, took us to three different pubs where tables were reserved for us and hospitable hosts brought us snacks and drinks. Daniel spoke of Irish history and mythology and told stories. Daniel was so kind and he was open to any questions. He gave us the lay of the land as we walked between pubs and suggested things to do and places to eat and drink while we visit Ireland. I would recommend taking this tour earlier in your visit to the Dublin area, if your schedule permits. I'd also note that our original tour time had to be changed. The company was very apologetic and communicative and offered us a number of options to fit our schedule. If I could give this tour more than 5 stars, I would.
Response from the operator: Ah Jackie that is a fabulous review. Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback and for your flexibility with your booking. Daniel is delighted that you enjoyed your time with him so much.

An Unforgettable Night of Magic and Myths!
Our storytelling pub crawl with Daniel was easily one of the highlights of our trip! We visited three different pubs, enjoying drinks and snacks while Daniel brought the history and mythology of Dublin to life through incredible storytelling. Daniel is a fantastic guide—he made the legends of giants and fairies so captivating and fun. It wasn't just a history lesson; it was a lively, immersive experience that felt like we were just hanging out with a close family friend! We especially appreciated how seamless the evening was: all three bars were expecting us and had a quiet little corner set aside for our group at each place, making it easy to hear every word of the stories. If you want a unique evening that combines great pubs with the magical side of Irish folklore, this is a must-do!
Response from the operator: Wow, I am thrilled you enjoyed your time with Daniel so much. I can’t wait to show him your review as he is the absolute best. Thank you so much for joining us and for taking the time to give this fantastic feedback!

This is an experience that should be booked out months in advance. Daniel was an absolute gem and it really felt like we were traveling with a local friend with a WEALTH of knowledge about Ireland who didn't shy away from sensitive topics. I really can't recomend this enough, everyone can get something of value from this tour. Take this tour as soon as you get to Dublin, it may just influence what you do and where you go. All the pubs are great and the convo is amazing. Thank you for the experience!!!!

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dublin: Irish Storytelling Small-Group Pub Tour with Drinks, Food: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.
How much does Dublin: Irish Storytelling Small-Group Pub Tour with Drinks, Food cost?
+
Prices start at $101 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dublin: Irish Storytelling Small-Group Pub Tour with Drinks, Food take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.
Is Dublin: Irish Storytelling Small-Group Pub Tour with Drinks, Food worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dublin: Irish Storytelling Small-Group Pub Tour with Drinks, Food?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dublin: Irish Storytelling Small-Group Pub Tour with Drinks, Food suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dublin: Irish Storytelling Small-Group Pub Tour with Drinks, Food?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dublin: Irish Storytelling Small-Group Pub Tour with Drinks, Food start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dublin?
+
On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
