    Walking in Yumminess

This walking food and drink tour was the highlight of our trip! I really loved all the SLO details Angee gave us.I normally take so many food pictures but this time I devoured most everything so quickly that I didn’t get food pics!! I would totally do this tour again!!!

    Great experience!

This was a great food tour, the food was fabulous, the portions good sized, and the drinks were yummy! The history that the guide shared with us during the tour made the tour very interesting and added a lot of depth to the whole experience. The hosts at the spots we visited were timely and friendly. This was exactly what a food and drink tour should be like!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We absolutely love hearing this! Fabulous food, yummy drinks, a little local history, and great people along the way—that’s exactly the kind of afternoon we want our guests to have. We’re so happy you enjoyed the generous portions (no tiny bites over here! 😂) and felt so welcomed at each of our stops. Thank you for spending part of your time in SLO eating and drinking with us, and for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. Cheers! 🥂

    Almost top notch.

The tour guide (Angie) was very well informed. She did an excellent job. She was very personable and I couldn't have asked for a better guide. I personally thought the price was a bit too expensive. I have been on several food tours throughout the country and the food selection for this one was a little less than stellar. The portions were meager at a few of the places and the management at a couple of the restaurants seemed less than prepared for our group. Overall it was entertaining and I will certainly recommend this company.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for joining us and for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback! I’m so glad you enjoyed the tour, the stories, and spending the afternoon exploring SLO with me. 😊 We always want our guests to leave feeling well-fed, well-sipped, and happy with the experience, so I truly appreciate your feedback about the portions and restaurant preparedness. As a locally owned small business, feedback like this helps us continue working with our restaurant partners to make the experience the best it can be. Thank you again for spending the afternoon with us, and especially for recommending Taste of SLO to others. I hope we get the chance to eat and drink with you again someday! Cheers! 🥂

    Amazing Tour!

You meet up at SLO BBQ in the beer area. Angi was great! Knowledgeable and a great guide! The food was amazing and we covered a wide variety of cuisine and downtown.

    Go very worth it!

The tour was awesome, Angela our guide was wonderful. We had a small intimate group so lots of nice conversation and history was shared. The food was great as well and Angela made sure what we were getting was something we would eat. Tried the Peruvian food and was not disappointed.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! I had such a fun afternoon eating and drinking our way through SLO with you! Small groups really are special—you get plenty of good food, great conversation, and lots of time to get to know each other along the way. 😊 And I’m so glad you were willing to give the Peruvian food a try and loved it! Thank you for joining me and for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. Cheers! 🥂

Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Luis Obispo.

How much does Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $199 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Luis Obispo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Luis Obispo is not rushed.

Is Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 89 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Luis Obispo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour?

    +

Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Luis Obispo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Luis Obispo and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Downtown SLO Brunch Food & Drink Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Luis Obispo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in San Luis Obispo?

    +

San Luis Obispo, CA packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in San Luis Obispo by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every San Luis Obispo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Electric Bike Rental in Morro Bay, Guided E-Bike Tour of Morro Bay, Whale Watching Adventure in Morro Bay. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit San Luis Obispo?

    +

Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in San Luis Obispo, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in San Luis Obispo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
