Informative and fun
Informative and fun! Went here with my partner. Unfortunately it was not a sunny day so I imagine it was so much better when it is. But still fun and informative!

Best everything, especially the tour guide!
Everything about this trip was perfect. The locations, the timing/length, the transportation, the size of the group, the activities at each stop (wine, food, info presentations), the historical details along the way, the jokes, all the smallest details of the itinerary were greatly considered and planned to your comfort. All this, however, is trumped by the incredible tour guide. João was the highlight of the day and made every minute more fun. Thank you for making our WHOLE trip to porto, not just this experience, exponentially better. The best!

Highly recommend
Amazing tour with great travel guide! Pedro explained everything super well and is very knowledgeable. The food was amazing! Everything at the vineyards was beautiful! Highly recommend this tour
Response from the operator: What a pleasure to read this! Pedro has a real passion for the Douro Valley, and we’re so glad his knowledge and way of sharing the region helped make your day so enjoyable. Great food, beautiful vineyards and good company are exactly what a day in the Douro should be about! Thank you for choosing EFun Tours and for your kind recommendation. We hope Portugal brings you back our way again! 🍷😊

Fantastic job introduction to the wines of Douro.
Dreadful weather almost ruined the trip, however our guide Vitor negotiated a through the worst of it. Small group is definitely the best way to do this tour as we were taken to places the coaches couldn’t get to. Wineries selected were delightful - informative and superb tastings.

Worth it
We had a really great time on the Douro Valley wine tour and would totally recommend it if you’re a wine lover! The boat tour had some really nice views, the wine was great, the winery tour was fun, and our guide was amazing! The only downside was that it was hard to find the bus during pickup, since there were a lot of different tours at the same place picking people up, which can be confusing.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you had such a great time exploring the **Douro Valley with EFun Tours**, from the beautiful scenery during the river cruise to the wine tasting, winery visit, and especially the experience with our guide. We also really appreciate your feedback regarding the pick-up point. We understand that having several tour operators departing from the same area can sometimes make things confusing, and your comment is very helpful. We’ll continue working to make our meeting and identification process as clear and easy as possible for our guests. Thank you again for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to Portugal for another great experience! **The EFun Tours Team**

Why this scores 91
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Douro Valley Small-Group Wine Tour: 2 Wineries, Cruise & Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Douro Valley Small-Group Wine Tour: 2 Wineries, Cruise & Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $45 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Douro Valley Small-Group Wine Tour: 2 Wineries, Cruise & Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Douro Valley Small-Group Wine Tour: 2 Wineries, Cruise & Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 91 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 4,179 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule Douro Valley Small-Group Wine Tour: 2 Wineries, Cruise & Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Douro Valley Small-Group Wine Tour: 2 Wineries, Cruise & Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Douro Valley Small-Group Wine Tour: 2 Wineries, Cruise & Lunch?
+
Around 1,463 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Douro Valley Small-Group Wine Tour: 2 Wineries, Cruise & Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
