Enjoyable. But boring 🪴
I enjoyed seeing the dolphins. The ride back was long and boring. Wish would of had more talking about the area
Response from the operator: HMMM... of all the reviews for all of the years, a long boat ride was boring? If you are interested in learning more about the area, we offer daily narrated sightseeing cruises. The 1 pm Dolphin Watch was a complete success and you had an extra few minutes to cruise. For me, that's a FIVE star Dolphin Watching Adventure. Capt Jeff

Dolphins!!
Lovely boat ride along the coast from Gardiners Basin down to Margate and back. We saw so many dolphins! It was truly beautiful. One caveat- 3 different children threw up. Very unpleasant. The crew repeatedly said bc of the weather it'd be rockier upstairs but no families moved downstairs. It was strange and rather uncomfortable for those of us that were fine. The crew cleaned up right away, but still... That being said, I highly recommend.

Great cruise
It was a beautiful experience. Saw many dolphins. It was our first time and we were very lucky to see so many. For some great videos and pictures

Had a fun time even...
Had a fun time even though we didn’t see any dolphins. It was pretty windy so it was hard to see. Crew was very nice and let us on even though we were running late.

No refund
We tried to get a jitney bus to go there and the driver just waved at us and kept going. We lost $90 because they wouldn’t give us a refund.
Response from the operator: Tickets are non-refundable. Your tickets were held until 1 pm and were not sold to another group. Had you arrived on time, you would have your tickets for a sold out dolphin watch. We are timed event, like a flight, bus or train... if you miss your American Airline flight, you are not given a refund. The plane flew without you on it, just like the boat. All passengers are aware of no refund policies prior to purchasing your tickets.

Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Atlantic City.
How much does Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Atlantic City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Atlantic City is not rushed.
Is Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Atlantic City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Atlantic City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Atlantic City and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Atlantic City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Atlantic City?
+
Atlantic City, NJ packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Atlantic City by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Atlantic City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour, Hard Rock Cafe Atlantic City, Spirits Tasting at Little Water Distillery. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Atlantic City?
+
Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Atlantic City, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Atlantic City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
