About this experience
Come on our chilling ghost tour presented by US Ghost Adventures! Are you ready to take a trip through downtown Atlantic City’s most haunted hotspots? The island site of the future settlement of Atlantic City was Lenape's summer residence for many years before the city was constructed. While the exact date of the first permanent settlement of what would become Atlantic City is unknown, it is widely assumed that Jeremiah Leeds built and occupied an all-year residence on the island in 1783. However, it was not until 1850 that the notion of developing the area into a resort town developed, and the name "Atlantic City" was chosen in early 1853. Book your trip with us today if you want to explore the ghostly streets of Atlantic City and see the city in a unique way — the spirits of Atlantic City are waiting.

Don't waste your time
I have been on at least 50 ghost tours prior to this one and this is the absolute worst ever. Our tour guide could not of cared less about doing the tour . Her stories were boring and lame. Not worth the money.
Response from the operator: Hello! We sincerely apologize that your experience wasn’t what you expected, especially given your passion for ghost tours. Our guides are trained to deliver engaging and well-researched stories, so it’s disappointing to hear this wasn’t the case. Please contact guestrelations@usghostadventures.com with your booking info so we can look into it and make it right.

Fun Times
We had so much fun and Oddra was very informative. She talks really fast so you must pay attention. But she's more than happy to repeat any information. We highly recommend taking a tour.
Response from the operator: Hi, Keely! We’re so happy to hear you had such a fun time with Oddra! She’s full of great stories and energy, and we love that she kept you entertained all night. Thanks for the kind words and recommendation. We hope you’ll join us again for another haunted adventure in Atlantic City!

Horrible Tour
This is the worst tour, do not waste your time or money. Fake ghost tour all under the blaring AC boardwalk music speakers. Trust me, I’m doing you a favor!
Response from the operator: Hi Sean, we're sorry to hear your experience on this tour was not up to our normal standards. As you can see from the majority of our other reviews, we're used to getting great feedback about this tour and we understand your disappointment. Our managers are already aware of these issues and have taken action. Our tour is not "fake"--it is based on historical research and authentic local ghost stories. If our guide did not present the tour as such, that is something that needs to be addressed and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. According to our records, several members of our team have been in touch with you in order to correct the situation and make the experience up to you. We hope you're able to join us for another tour in the future, so that we can show you the excellent experience we are known for. Thank you!

Didn’t happen
Bummer the tour was canceled, got a text around noon that they are not having another tour tell next week. I think they will refund but they are pushing hard for rescheduling or credit but I am only here a couple days.
Response from the operator: Hi, Laura! We understand how frustrating it can be to have plans change, especially when you have limited time in the area. We’re very sorry your tour had to be canceled last minute. We know you experienced this about a month ago, and we truly hope the situation has been resolved. If you need further assistance or have any remaining questions, please email guestrelations@wejunket.com with your booking details, and we’ll be happy to help.

AC tour
Your guide very knowledgeable and explained the history of AC. Nice to learn about a city close by to where we live. Perfect night for it as the weather was great too.

Why this scores 60
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Atlantic City.
How much does Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Atlantic City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Atlantic City is not rushed.
Is Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 39 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Atlantic City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Atlantic City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Atlantic City and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Aces to Ashes: Apparitions of Atlantic City Boardwalk Ghost Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Atlantic City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Atlantic City?
+
Atlantic City, NJ packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Atlantic City by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Atlantic City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dolphin Watching Adventure Cruise in Atlantic City, Hard Rock Cafe Atlantic City, Spirits Tasting at Little Water Distillery. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Atlantic City?
+
Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Atlantic City, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Atlantic City?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
