Cool way to see Cinque Terre
What a beautiful day! The crew was great and we learned a lot about the area. We loved the swimming and loved seeing Cinque Terre from the water as it was very hot with lots of tourists. Highly recommend this tour!

An Unforgettable Day on the Water!
This was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our Mediterranean vacation! The itinerary was absolutely perfect, giving us the chance to experience the stunning beauty of Lerici, Portovenere, the islands, hidden coves, and breathtaking coastline—all from the water. The boat was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything was organized perfectly, yet the experience never felt rushed. The guides were outstanding—friendly, professional, incredibly hardworking, and it was obvious they truly love what they do. Their passion for the area made the trip even more special. They were flexible whenever possible, happy to answer questions, and made sure everyone had a wonderful time. The scenery was simply spectacular. Every stop offered another incredible view, with crystal-clear water, colorful villages, dramatic cliffs, and so many photo opportunities. There was always something beautiful to admire. Lunch on board was delicious and a wonderful addition to the experience. Sharing a meal while surrounded by such amazing scenery made the day even more memorable. If you're visiting La Spezia, I cannot recommend this tour enough. It is the perfect combination of sightseeing, relaxation, great food, and wonderful hospitality. Thank you to Diego and his colleague for giving us memories we'll treasure for years to come!

Fish and Chill, Cinque Terre Boat Tour
Beautiful way to see Cinque Terre. The staff was exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly and provided a full day of fun. We got close to the towns viewing them without the crowds. They provided a delightful lunch and we took advantage of snorkeling and swimming from the boat. You won't be disappointed.
Response from the operator: Fantastic to hear, thank you so much for coming out with us - we are so happy you had a great time! Welcome back any time!

Great family trip on the Giulietta
Our family had a perfect day on the Giulietta. The boat was beautiful. Diego and Jacoba were very passionate and knowledgeable about the area. The lunch was probably the best meal we had in Italy (especially the pesto!). This was our family’s favorite day in Italy. I would highly recommend.
Response from the operator: This is so amazing to hear for us, thank you so much, we are so happy you enjoyed yourself! And also - the tour is only as good as its participants, so thank you for making this such a beautiful day together! Please come back soon!

An unforgettable experience!
Our boat cruise was truly one of the highlights of our trip! We did a daytime cruise, and Captain Diego met us in Monterosso for an incredibly smooth and easy pickup. Before we headed out, Diego let us know that if we were flexible, the water conditions would be much better closer to La Spezia. We trusted his judgment and told him to do whatever he thought was best—and wow, we are so glad we did. The water was absolutely stunning: calm, crystal clear, and the most vibrant blue. We had the most amazing swims. Our steward, Jacopo, was also incredible. While Diego navigated the boat, Jacopo told us the history of Cinque Terre and the surrounding area, which made the experience even more special. Both Diego and Jacopo were so easy to be around. They made us feel completely comfortable asking endless questions about the area, local life, and recommendations. Lunch was another highlight. Diego puts so much care into the food he serves, using ingredients based on what the land naturally provides and what’s in season. He explained how the menu changes depending on what is freshest and best for his guests, which made everything feel so thoughtful and authentic. And the homemade jam made by Diego was absolutely delicious! One thing I would say to future guests: trust your captain—he truly knows best. If Diego asks you to be flexible with the schedule, Trust him! he guided us to the calmest and most beautiful waters, and it made all the difference. I was initially a little worried about traveling between Monterosso and La Spezia, but it was completely seamless. The train system was easy to use, and Diego and Jacopo even gave us great restaurant recommendations in the area. We cannot thank them enough for making our cruise so memorable. Their knowledge, hospitality, and genuine care made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Wow, thank you for your beuatiful words. We are so happy you came out with us and that you were so trusting in Diego and Jacopo. All we want is to make our clients happy so this is truly special to read. Come back soon!

Why this scores 80
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for La Spezia.
How much does Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $150 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in La Spezia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in La Spezia is not rushed.
Is Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in La Spezia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in La Spezia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in La Spezia and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central La Spezia within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in La Spezia?
+
On Outty we rank every La Spezia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include La Spezia: Taste Cinque Terre on a Food Tour by Do Eat Better, Portovenere & Three Islands Small Group Boat Tour from La Spezia, 5 Islands from La Spezia: full day boat trip with swimming stops. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit La Spezia?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in La Spezia?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
