Nice trip (best outside the rainy season)
Nice trip, walk in the jungle and between the rice fields was very nice. Coffee stop in a mountain village was rather commercial, nothing was told about the coffee (which they had roasted themselves). We were there in July (rainy season) and on the doi inathanon you could see nothing, only clouds of rain and cold. Our guide told us that during the rainy season this was the case every day. That was a downer. You couldn't even see the pagodas because of the fog. But all in all had a nice trip.

Hierdoor kan de uitleg soms wat beperkt zijn, maar we nemen uw feedback mee om te kijken hoe we de communicatie daar kunnen verbeteren. Wat betreft Doi Inthanon: in juli, tijdens het regenseizoen, is de natuur vaak erg groen en zijn de watervallen mooi, maar op de hogere delen van de berg en bij de pagodes kunnen mist, regen en beperkt zicht helaas voorkomen. Voor reizigers die vooral hopen op heldere berguitzichten, bieden de koelere en drogere maanden meestal een grotere kans op goed zicht. This was a good way to...
This was a good way to see another side of Thailand - and our guide (Yoleangphun) was very good and knowledgeable. The tour started with a waterfall, then a trek where we saw more waterfalls and some local wildlife, then lunch and finally the temples.

Experience not to be repeated
Experience not recommended, I would not repeat it. The guide explained nothing, useless his presence with incomprehensible English. Exaggeratedly high price for what is offered. The 400 baths to be paid separately at the end are mandatory. We do not understand what we paid, no service was provided. Lunch was really scarce and there was no demonstration of how coffee was made in Karen village. We were left completely alone to taste a few cups of coffee. Beautiful only the walk in the natural park but you can get there in other ways.

Great day out, guide could engage more.
I was picked up promptly from my hotel, however we never stopped at 7-11 on the way (as stated on the itinerary) we headed straight to the first waterfall which was about a 90 minute journey. The van was completely full and think we could have benefited having a larger vehicle. Our guide was friendly however and let us know the order of the day. The waterfall was beautiful and we were able to spend sometime walking up and taking pictures. We then moved on to the nature trail where we had a nature guide, however we weren’t given any information or facts whilst on the walk at all, the tour guide didn’t really engage unless we engaged with them. Despite this I enjoyed the trail and walking along waterfalls etc. I would highly recommend wearing trainers and comfortable clothing, shorts etc and being mosquito spray. We had lunch which was ok, nothing spectacular and then went to a local market where we could sample some goods and purchase, all the vendors there were friendly. We then went to the highest point in Thailand, which was busy with people trying to capture photos but didn’t have to wait too long, again no information was forthcoming. Our final stop was at the national park which was absolutely beautiful, it’s a huge space and the buildings and the gardens were really fantastic. I was really disappointed that we hardly spent any time here at all, maybe 30 mins which should have been at least an hour considering the amount of ground to cover and to take it all in. We left and I ended up back at my hotel about 45 mins earlier than suggested so we could have stayed at the park for longer. Despite all this, I would recommend as you do get to see many beautiful things, I just hope that your guide is more engaging than ours and I was lucky to have a great group too!

Chaing Mai must do
Our guide Mint was the best. We have taken 5 ( English speaking) tours through various providers during our first 5 weeks in Thailand. Our guide Mint was the first one that we could hear, understand, and while doing walk about, waited for the whole group to catch up before providing very informative information. There were many and varied stops on this tour so boring it was not. The hike portion was totally amazing..
