    Dos Chicas, Rotoliamo con Keit

Our time in Milan was made truly unforgettable thanks to Keit an absolute gem of a guide! From the moment we met, she was warm, fun, and effortlessly engaging, making us feel less like tourists and more like we were part of her inner circle of friends. Our experience around the Duomo was incredible, filled with fascinating insights and local stories that brought the city to life. But the real highlight? The extraordinary food tour she curated for us. Every stop was a perfect taste of authentic Milan, rich espresso, indulgent chocolate, fresh focaccia with tomatoes, perfectly crafted cannoli, and some of the most delicious gelato we’ve ever had. Cait struck the perfect balance of knowledge and personality, easygoing, personable, and genuinely passionate about sharing her love for Milan. It never felt scripted; it felt like we were exploring the city with a friend who knew all the best spots. If you’re looking for a guide who will make you feel welcomed, well-fed, and completely immersed in the Milanese experience, Keit is the one. An absolute must!

Response from the operator: It was a wonderful time with wonderful girls!!! Thank you for all your energy, and trust!!! Thank you for this amazing tour!!!🥰❤️🐉

    Depends on your expectations

We like to start trips to new cities with a food tour to learn and explore the culture and cuisine. We’ve had some phenomenal guides in the past trips to Paris and Istanbul so this one seemed average. Perhaps you might consider great if you’re new to tours. Our guide was kind and on time. She had a plan and stuck to it. It was ok, just nothing remarkable. I did enjoy starting at a sit down restaurant, tried a new riff on a Negroni cocktail, and appreciate the guides enthusiasm and clear English.

Response from the operator: Hello dear Sorry im confused about your review: You r disappointed because i had another tour right after yours and that our tour ended in 2,5 hours which is the slot you payed for? If I may say so, I’ve been doing this job for over 10 years. Some people understand that this is our work, while others think—like in this case—that we are here to play around and act like clowns for our guests. I provided you with food and, in addition to completing my food tour, I also shared historical insights that are not usually included in this type of experience. I simply like my guests to leave not only full, but also well-informed. Your review is very confusing to me. I’m not usually one to respond, but you need to understand that what you purchase comes at a cost. So yes, I did have something planned right after your tour—another tour to lead, not going dancing with friends. This is why I find your comments unnecessary and not very constructive, especially since you didn’t tell me how I could improve my service. You only complained that I ended the tour on schedule and provided exactly what you paid for. If you’d like to clarify your feedback, I will certainly consider your review useful to improve my work and be a better guide for future guests.

    Great tour in Milano!

Caterina is an outstanding tour guide. She provided an in-depth history of Milan and its changes over time. We were especially fascinated by her presentation on the canals that used to be prevalent in Milano. The food was fabulous; and the entire experience was educational, delicious, and above all, FUN!!!!

Discover the Milano by Food: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Milan.

How much does Discover the Milano by Food cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Milan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Discover the Milano by Food take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Milan is not rushed.

Is Discover the Milano by Food worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 108 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Milan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Discover the Milano by Food?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Discover the Milano by Food suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Discover the Milano by Food?

    +

Around 38 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Milan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Milan and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Discover the Milano by Food start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Milan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Milan?

    +

On Outty we rank every Milan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gnocchi, Pasta, Tiramisù and Wine Class, Authentic Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class in Milan, Milan's Hidden Gems: Unique Bike Tour (ENG, NL). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Milan?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Milan?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
