    Wonderful visit with knowledgable guide

We booked the one hour tour today. Everything went very smoothly from booking to communicating pick-up instructions on WhatsApp. The driver was very friendly and professional, and the car was clean and in good condition. After about 15min drive we arrived at the workshop. Our guide greeted us and gave us a really nice tour of the place. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information and detail. He works as one of the artists at the place. There was no pressure to purchase anything. We ended up buying something and had friendly negotiations for price. Afterwards the driver took us back. Overall a nice experience well worth the price. A really interesting look into the craft.

    Cool Tour

This was a pretty cool tour. We were shown various steps in the creation of pottery and mosaics. I learned quite a bit. There were also lots of pottery and mosaics available to purchase at the end. The exerience was pretty inexpensive, and worth it.

Great pottery and mosaic tile tour, highly recommend!

Very easy communication with Abdou, driver met us without issue, and they were able to accommodate a change in our itinerary on the day of the tour. The tour itself was fascinating, and the transport from our riad and back was painless. Short tour but well worth the money, would recommend to anyone traveling to Fes with an interest in the traditional pottery and mosaic tile. Handmade pottery like this is truly a lost art!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We're glad everything went smoothly and that you enjoyed discovering the beauty of traditional craftsmanship. It was a pleasure hosting you, and you're always welcome back in Fes!

Excellent must do tour to understand more about Moroccan architecture and culture.

This tour is so fascinating and will inform your whole trip in Morocco. We loved learning about the making, painting, mosaic and tiling techniques from the start of the process to the finish. Abdou was an excellent communicator in English and happily answered all our questions. This is a must-do in Fez and very good value.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted that you found the tour fascinating and insightful. I'm very happy to hear your kind words. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again in Fes!

Discover Pottery and Mosaic Zellige on a Factory Tour in Fes: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.

How much does Discover Pottery and Mosaic Zellige on a Factory Tour in Fes cost?

    +

Prices start at $17 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Discover Pottery and Mosaic Zellige on a Factory Tour in Fes take?

    +

Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.

Is Discover Pottery and Mosaic Zellige on a Factory Tour in Fes worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Discover Pottery and Mosaic Zellige on a Factory Tour in Fes?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Discover Pottery and Mosaic Zellige on a Factory Tour in Fes suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Discover Pottery and Mosaic Zellige on a Factory Tour in Fes?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Discover Pottery and Mosaic Zellige on a Factory Tour in Fes start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fez?

    +

On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Day Trip to Chefchaouen from Fez ( instagram /Photos ), Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Fes/Marrakech via Erg Chebbi. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fez?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fez?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
