Malaga Tour with Carlos
We had an outstanding tour with Carlos in Malaga. Carlos is lively, fun and incredibly knowledgeable about Malaga history and lore. He covered 1000's of years of history of the city - but filled with plenty of humor and fascinating stories that revealed much of the spirit of the area. After the tour, Carlos stuck around to answer any additional questions and patiently handled quite a few. Carlos also advised us as to what not to miss in our own travels there later (rum raisin ice cream, the Picasso museum). I highly recommend this tour company - so much to learn!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for recommending us! We're thrilled you enjoyed our tour in Málaga with Carlos, and, of course, his recommendations for the rest of your trip! Hope to welcome you back to Málaga again soon!

Time well spent with Carlos as enthusiastic, passionate guide
Carlos was an enthusiastic guide who was proud to give historical perspective on his city, bringing Malaga to life in a humorous and entertaining way. Very fun tour. Would highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you for such a kind review and the recommendation, Karen! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the tour with Carlos! Hope to welcome you back in Málaga soon!

Getting to the meeting site was hard, but the guide & tour insights were great
The meeting point was extremely difficult to get to, especially because no one had taken into account that there was a marathon running through the area of the meeting place. Parking had to be rerouted several hundred feet away to a parking lot, and then we had to find the meeting spot. Other than the meeting spot, everything went great. The guide did wait for 10 to 15 minutes for us, so that was very nice of him. He guided us right to the spot, and then we had a great tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the 5 stars, and for your patience that day! You're right that the marathon caused some unexpected chaos around the meeting point. That's genuinely outside our control, but we completely understand how stressful it was to navigate rerouted parking before finding us. We're really glad our guide waited for you, and even happier to hear the tour itself was great! We'll keep an eye on the Málaga's event calendar so we can give guests a heads-up when something like this might affect the meeting point. Hope to welcome you back to Málaga soon!

Best tour ever with some crazy facts ;)
Best tour i ever had. I do tours in every city i go, this was definetly the best one so far. Carlos was the most nicest guy ever. He knew lots of weird facts. Did you know Picasso was ''not so nice of a guy''?. Whenever we asked a question he had some story to tell us. He checked up on every person on the group so that no one felt left behind. 10/10 would recommend!!! Keep up the good work and hopefully see you soon!
Response from the operator: We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour! Thanks for recommending us, and we hope to have you back on a tour whenever your travels bring you back to Málaga!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! Hope to see you back in Málaga sometime!

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Discover Málaga History Secrets and Art: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Malaga.
How much does Discover Málaga History Secrets and Art cost?
+
Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Malaga usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Discover Málaga History Secrets and Art take?
+
Plan for about 1.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Malaga is not rushed.
Is Discover Málaga History Secrets and Art worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Malaga, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Discover Málaga History Secrets and Art?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Discover Málaga History Secrets and Art suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Discover Málaga History Secrets and Art?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Malaga can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Malaga and add a light layer if any part of the 1.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Discover Málaga History Secrets and Art start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Malaga within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Malaga?
+
On Outty we rank every Malaga experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Malaga City Tour 2 Hours Monumental Segway Tour, Taste of Malaga Tour : Tapas, History and Local Customs, Go local for a day!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Malaga?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Malaga?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
