Excellent tour!
Our guide was excellent! He provided a lot of information as we drove along, showed us amazing sites, and was super friendly. It was the perfect way to spend our layover. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Strictly ok
This is an ok experience and should be done if you have enough time to spend in traffic. KL airport is far from city and you would spend half the time in car only. The driver will start complaining at some point in time of getting late and dropping you back so not really a good option.
Response from the operator: Dear Nitin, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not fully meet your expectations and that travel time and driver behavior impacted your overall enjoyment. We understand that the distance between Kuala Lumpur and the airport can lead to extended travel times, especially during peak traffic hours. While we strive to make the journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible, we regret that this wasn’t the case for you. Your comment about the driver’s behavior is concerning, as our team is trained to provide courteous and professional service. We will address this matter to ensure that all guests feel valued and cared for throughout their trip. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our services, and we appreciate you bringing these points to our attention. Thank you for choosing our service, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future. Safe travels!

Memorable Tour of Kuala Lumpur with Excellent Service
I booked a ride from Kuala Lumpur Airport, which caused a slight delay in starting the tour. However, when the driver arrived, he assured me that we would visit all the listed places. Kuala Lumpur is a beautiful city to explore. Visiting the KL Tower was one of my favorite experiences. Shah dropped me off at the airport well ahead of time. Thank you very much!

Private layover tour from KL airport
A great way to spend a day in KL. Air Malaysia cancels flights way too easily and left us stranded for 12 hours. Harry our private tour guide fetched us, took us everywhere and back to the airport. Made the day fun and interesting. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour
The driver helped us a lot through out the tour. He was very kind and friendly. It was ahot day and he ensured that we covered all the places with great ease and comfort. He also recommended us places to eat which was cherry on the cake.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Discover Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya: Batu Caves & Iconic Landmarks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kuala Lumpur.
How much does Discover Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya: Batu Caves & Iconic Landmarks cost?
+
Prices start at $108 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kuala Lumpur usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Discover Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya: Batu Caves & Iconic Landmarks take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kuala Lumpur is not rushed.
Is Discover Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya: Batu Caves & Iconic Landmarks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kuala Lumpur, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Discover Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya: Batu Caves & Iconic Landmarks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Discover Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya: Batu Caves & Iconic Landmarks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Discover Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya: Batu Caves & Iconic Landmarks?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kuala Lumpur can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kuala Lumpur and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Discover Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya: Batu Caves & Iconic Landmarks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kuala Lumpur within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur?
+
On Outty we rank every Kuala Lumpur experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sambal Streets Kuala Lumpur Food Tour with 15+ Tastings, Genting Highland & Batu Cave Guided Day Tour (SIC/Shared Tour), Private Half-Day Batu Caves and Cutural Tour in Kuala Lumpur. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kuala Lumpur?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kuala Lumpur?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
