We went to Agafay...
We went to Agafay yesterday and it was an impeccable experience for me and my girls. Plus our driver Abdul has successfully driven us to Agafay with kindness and hospitality. He was very thoughtful and considerate.
Response from the operator: Dear friend Thank you very much for such a great review! It is only through feedback such as yours that we can maintain and indeed, where necessary, improve upon the service that we provide to our valued guests. We work hard to offer the best services, so we are happy to see that reflected in your feedback. Hope to see you again soon!

A great evening!
Wonderful from start to finish. My spouse convinced me to ride a camel, and this was a highlight of our Morocco trip. The sunset dinner and bonfire afterwards was very enjoyable, too. Very well organized, not too crowded. A great evening.

Cheesiest tour I've ever been on. Major tourist trap.
This tour went all sorts of wrong. First the tour operator forgot and asked us to reschedule the next day. We did but it messed up our itinerary. The stop at the argan oil place was interesting. The camel ride was a joke - the first camel stop was full so we went to the next camel stop which is where you also eat dinner. By the time we got there is was getting dark.. So what was supposed to be a 30 minute camel ride turned out to be a 15 minute ride and we all had to ride double on the camel. The dinner was actually pretty good but the show after was a hot mess. it was four young men pounding on drums, singing and dancing around very badly - not entertaining at all. I do not recommend this tour. Invest your valuable holiday time elsewhere.
Response from the operator: Thanks for your nice taste and valuable advice, but I think nobody will consider it as they have some respect for their hosts. All our other guests always enjoy the show and respect the efforts made by the artists to make your holidays special.

Best stars in the desert, tasty food, well organised
Well organised, we were picked up on time by very careful driver in a 4x4 who answered all our questions on the way to the desert. The camel ride was just the perfect amount of time for us since our priority was the sunset dinner. Do wear something you don’t mind getting dirty (dust and sand get everywhere) and bring a jacket or hoody (it gets chilly and windy after sunset). We took this tour after the devastating earthquake and to show respect there was no music show ( I totally support and agree). We gathered by the fire and shared travel stories and riddles instead. Thank you for having us, stay safe!

Amazing sunset tour, family of 5 with small kids
We had a wonderfull experience with Karim who was our guid. We got all the details including photo of the car before, and Karim replied to all sir questions on the way, gave us so many fun information , answered our kids questions ( 3 girls under 7). The experience itself is wonderful , the setting about 10 mins from a 100 people village , with local happy , well taken care of camels and local people helping. The tent, food and photo ops are stunning, and they even had a donkey so my little ones could play with him in the meatime. Over all great organisation and could not recommend it more! thank you guys!
Response from the operator: Dear friend Ewa, Thank you very much for such a great review! It is only through feedbacks such yours that we are able to maintain and indeed, where necessary, improve upon the service that we provide to our valued guests. We work really hard to offer the best services , so we are happy to see that reflected on your feedback. Hope to see you again soon! Best regards Abdul

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dinner show and Sunset Camel riding Agafay desert: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Dinner show and Sunset Camel riding Agafay desert cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dinner show and Sunset Camel riding Agafay desert take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Dinner show and Sunset Camel riding Agafay desert worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dinner show and Sunset Camel riding Agafay desert?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dinner show and Sunset Camel riding Agafay desert suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dinner show and Sunset Camel riding Agafay desert?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dinner show and Sunset Camel riding Agafay desert start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
