Rustic boat, tasty food, friendly staff.
Relaxing and fun, the boat has a nice rustic charm about it. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and tasty. Getting on and off the boat via the walkways is a bit tricky.

Nice tour to take
We really enjoyed this cruise.. such a beautiful night lit buildings the only thing we wished that a crew member would have let us know what buildings we r passing by..BBQ meal was decent but very small wine pour.. we recommend to take this tour

Check the bill before paying
This was already our fifth boat ride with them; everything was great until this time when we paid our bill. We were overcharged by almost $10! We complained to the waitress, who immediately informed the person in charge (a foreigner). There was no personal apology—only a message relayed through the staff that she had been distracted by her phone while calculating the costs. This is unacceptable and reflects poor service. Always check your invoice!
Response from the operator: Dear Rudis, 5th time you come on the boat, and yesterday, yes I did a mistake by charging over 10$. Yes I personally apologised to you when you leave and the bill was modified and told you that to excuse my mistake, I will offer you a drink next time you come. Mistake is possible and the boat was full. We make the bills by hand. Does it reflect poor service…. I think your words are not the good ones.

Very enjoyable dinner cruise
A great way to experience the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers at night. The cruise lasted 1 and 3/4 hours and left right on time at 700pm. Dinner was served quickly and efficiently ( we had BBQ pack which included Jasmine rice, salad and roast potatoes, beef skewer, chicken kebab, pork rib, prawn and squid with sauces and fresh fruit) also included was complimentary drink, beer, wine, soda. Other meal options are available. No commentary but staff very helpful and will answer your questions and tell about sights you pass. This is a very laid back cruise....no loud music and definitely not a "all you can drink" cruise. Cannot recommend it too highly. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Total cost USD 25.00 per head all inclusive. Thanks Jean-Pierre for the mint liquer.

Great way to see the river with a nice dinner
Great experience and a nice way to recover from a hot day. The boat was easy to find and the crew were very welcoming and attentive. Well prepared four course meal enjoyed on the front of the boat with great views and nice ambiance. The river breeze felt very nice after a long hot day seeing the city. Relaxing on the netting between the catamaran was a nice added touch after dinner. Get there early if you want to see the sunset along the river before going on the boat. Booking includes a $25 set with options to upgrade and purchase additional drinks.

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Dinner 4-course Mekong River cruise with Kanika Boat: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Phnom Penh.
How much does Dinner 4-course Mekong River cruise with Kanika Boat cost?
+
Prices start at $27 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Phnom Penh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Dinner 4-course Mekong River cruise with Kanika Boat take?
+
Plan for about 1.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Phnom Penh is not rushed.
Is Dinner 4-course Mekong River cruise with Kanika Boat worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Phnom Penh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Dinner 4-course Mekong River cruise with Kanika Boat?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Dinner 4-course Mekong River cruise with Kanika Boat suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Dinner 4-course Mekong River cruise with Kanika Boat?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Phnom Penh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Phnom Penh and add a light layer if any part of the 1.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Dinner 4-course Mekong River cruise with Kanika Boat start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Phnom Penh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Phnom Penh?
+
On Outty we rank every Phnom Penh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Tuol Sleng S21 and Choeung Ek Killing Field Tour, The Killing Field and Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) Tour, Killing field and Toul Sleng genocide museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Phnom Penh?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Phnom Penh?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
