    About this experience

Whether it is covered in a blanket of moody clouds or showing off against a crisp cloudless blue sky, Table Mountain is always spectacular. Cape Town locals are pretty fond of the mountain that looms over their city… and with good reason! Table Mountain, which is home to the richest, yet smallest floral kingdom on earth, was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2011. Flanked by Devil’s Peak and Lion’s Head, Table Mountain makes up the northern end of the Cape Fold Mountain range. It’s hard to imagine, but the mountain’s distinctive flat top – a three-kilometre level plateau – was once the bottom of a valley! The mountain was given its name — Taboa do Cabo (Table of the Cape) — by Antonio de Saldahna after he climbed up Platteklip Gorge in 1503.

    Andrew is a gem

Andrew is a nice guy, very sweet and helpful. His knowledge of the area and his professionalism are both world class. Very jolly, pleasant, friendly and approachable. He also drives so safely, he's really good at this. Both the mountain tour and Cape Town tour were enjoyable. Would've loved for it to be even longer, the time flew by, it was really pleasant. I think he is adaptable on his tours, such as like which places you want to see etc if you make a request. I'd recommend this business

Response from the operator: Thank you madam you such an angel. should you require anything please we just a phone call away.

Africa Tours Told Us to Get an Uber Home

The driver gave us his cell number when we were dropped off. I texted him during the day to let him know when we were having lunch and that we'd be hiking down. No response. Got to the road. Texted again. No response from driver. I emailed Africa Tours. They said to get an Uber and if possible they reimburse us. When the driver said his name was Honest I should have known something was not good.

Response from the operator: Thank you so for your response Donna we really sorry for experience you had with us. It is our desire that we make your holiday the best, however there were issues with bad traffic in town that was the reason why the driver couldn't make on time to you. We will try by all means to rectify these issues. Regards

    Bad experience

The driver picked us uo at the hotel. Due to the weather, Table Mountain was closed. On the return trip to the hotel, the police stopped the car. The driver was arrested for not having a permit and they threatened to arrest us as well for being with him. There was no contact or apology from the company. We would not use or recommend this company again

Response from the operator: Good day to you, we are truly sorry for the bad experience you had with us. The driver didn't communicate this with the office please kindly accept our sincere apology. Generally traffic cops will run certain operations looking for Uber vehicles it could have been they ran into you looking for Uber. We have all the necessary licenses to operate. Regards

De-Alcoholized Wine Tasting: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does De-Alcoholized Wine Tasting cost?

    +

Prices start at $284 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does De-Alcoholized Wine Tasting take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is De-Alcoholized Wine Tasting worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule De-Alcoholized Wine Tasting?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is De-Alcoholized Wine Tasting suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book De-Alcoholized Wine Tasting?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does De-Alcoholized Wine Tasting start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Cape Town Airport Private Transfer, Ocean Wildlife Encounter in Cape Town. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
