What you get

    About this experience

Experience the magic of dawn on our Sunrise Cruise with a maximum of 10 passengers. We'll set sail in our Sea Ray boat 75 minutes before sunrise and will journey south along the Intracoastal Waterway toward Ponce Inlet and our destination on the Atlantic Ocean. In the serene darkness before dawn, the lights of elegant waterfront homes and bridges will guide our way, giving way to stunning orange hues over the horizon as we approach the Inlet. Once there, we'll follow the jetty for about a mile out into the ocean, pausing to watch the sun rise over the horizon. Enjoy mimosas or juice (under 21) and breakfast pastries as the sky ignites with breathtaking hues of orange, red, and pink. On our return, watch pelicans and seagulls dive for their breakfast and keep an eye out for playful dolphins. If you've never seen the sunrise over the ocean, this will be an unforgettable experience.

    Sunrise Cruise in Daytona Beach

Caption very nice and informative! It was only my sister and I on the boat and we had a great time! It was beautiful and the ride was very nice a little chilly but to be expected. Had blankets for us. Would recommend this ride!

    Totally worth the Early Wake-up!

Capt Eric was absolutely wonderful from the time I booked the Sunrise Cruise until we docked at the conclusion of our experience. He reached out via text soon after we booked and maintained contact with updated info about weather conditions to ensure we had the best possible experience. We agreed to move our cruise to a day earlier and we were so glad he suggested that. Capt Eric goes out of his way to accommodate his clients and always looks out for their interests and needs. While boating to and from the Sunrise viewing location Eric gives color commentary on the noteworthy sites and local area attractions. The breakfast muffins were delicious and toasting with the mimosas at sunrise was such a fantastic way to celebrate our 39th Wedding anniversary! He took pics at significant times throughout our cruise and sent them to us afterwards. Capt Eric is the Best! We will definitely connect with him next time we’re in Daytona Beach for another cruise, or maybe repeat the Sunrise Cruise next year!

Response from the operator: Hi Larry! It was so wonderful having you and Velda on board to experience what I think is the most impressive cruise we have… The sunrise was spectacular, the conversation was engaging and I'm so glad you guys enjoyed yourselves! Can't wait to see you guys again!

Daytona Beach: Sunrise Cruise on the Atlantic Ocean: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Daytona Beach.

How much does Daytona Beach: Sunrise Cruise on the Atlantic Ocean cost?

    +

Prices start at $133 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Daytona Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Daytona Beach: Sunrise Cruise on the Atlantic Ocean take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Daytona Beach is not rushed.

Is Daytona Beach: Sunrise Cruise on the Atlantic Ocean worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Daytona Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Daytona Beach: Sunrise Cruise on the Atlantic Ocean?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Daytona Beach: Sunrise Cruise on the Atlantic Ocean suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Daytona Beach: Sunrise Cruise on the Atlantic Ocean?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Daytona Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Daytona Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Daytona Beach: Sunrise Cruise on the Atlantic Ocean start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Daytona Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Daytona Beach?

    +

Daytona Beach combines Daytona International Speedway tours and ride-alongs with beach days on hard-packed sand, airboat rides, dolphin cruises and St Augustine day trips. On Outty we rank every Daytona Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Daytona Beach Dolphin & Manatee Tour – Paddleboard or Kayak, New Smyrna Dolphin and Manatee Kayak and SUP Adventure Tour, Polynesian Fire and Dinner Show Ticket in Daytona Beach. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Daytona Beach?

    +

March to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Daytona Beach?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
