The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

If Time permit we enjoy shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took personal interest and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are: leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work.

Great Taj Mahal experience!
Praveen aka Rocky was our excellent guide. He was very kind and attentive to our needs and requests. He made certain we could see and appreciate the beautiful Taj Mahal from the best viewpoints. We also enjoyed AgraFort and the carpet and textile demonstration. He helped us have a good attutide about the heavy traffic and see some gorgeous wedding festivities. Our driver Madan was fabulous and handled the traffic very well. We loved this apportunity to visit India and stay in a lovely hotel. Everyone took good care of us!

Excellent Trip: Short, but sweet and well looked after.
Even though I knew it was going to be tight to see the Taj Mahal in 1 day, this processes could not have been easier. From the initial and well communicated ticket and booking information to the teams of drivers and tour guides that could not do enough to tailor the experience and made sure I maximised my time. Omkar ensured that despite the crazy Delhi traffic, I was able to spend enough time viewing the Taj and thanks to Vijay who, knowing the short time scale, made sure to prioritise both historical and cultural Information, along with guiding some excellent photo opportunities.
