After finishing the tours in the west bank you will be transferred back to the east bank to enjoy your lunch in a local quality restaurant . After enjoying your lunch you will visit Karnak temples, the largest religious structure the world has ever known covers a truly massive area of about 60 acres. Karnak temples are considered to be a history book stating the history of Egypt from the middle kingdom to the Ptolemaic period , which was dedicated to the god Amon-Ra, his consort Mut and their son Khonsu. After this interesting tour you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Hurghada.

Great way to see Luxor
I had been to Luxor several times before and each time been amazed and captivated by the history. Having a week in Hurghada made me think that it would be great to go back and see Luxor again. I did not really want the 4.00-5.00 hotel pick up of a regular excursion, so I decided to book a private tour. Driver picked me up on time at 7.00 and I was surprised that he was Luxor based so had left home at 02.00! He was very friendly and offered me drinks. The car could do with a bit of an upgrade but it was ok. Arrived in Luxor for 11.00 and met up with the guide. His English was good and we got straight into Valley of the Kings and he recommended the best 3 tombs to see that were included on the ticket. Then to Hatshepsut Temple a short ride away and again quick entry and enough time to look around. Then over the new bridge to Karnak Temple - really shortening the travel time between the 2 sides of the Nile. Guide was again very informative. Before I knew it, it was 16.00 and time to set off back with a back up driver. The first one still came all the way back though - but it is good he was not driving all the way 4 times in one day! Could really do without the obligatory stop at the alabaster show room and workshop, and i would have preferred the extra 30 minutes for example to see the Colossi of Memnon. But all up a highly recommended tour. Long day and tiring, but well worth it.

Really good way to see the west bank
It was a perfect day visit to the valley of Queens. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. He was able to tell a good story so that the time flew by. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would recommend it anytime It was nice to be able to visit it with a personal tour as it was not as stressful and at our place. We could stay as long as we wanted and discuss freely without the hectic pressure of others. Especially as our guide was pleasant to talk to

Amazing Sites - Fantastic Tour
This trip was amazing! My husband and I booked this trip for our honeymoon and it was the best idea ever! A personal driver picked us up from our hotel in Hurghada and drove us to Luxor. We went to Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Collosi of Memnon, and the Temple of Karnak during our tour. What really made the trip fantastic was our tour guide Barre (“Barry”). He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about each of the sites and tailored the tour to exactly what we wanted, providing us with as much or as little commentary and history as we wanted. We personally wanted a lot of history and the wealth of knowledge he had about each location was immeasurable. He told us the best temples to visit based on the crowds, and always left time to stop for water and snacks, which was very helpful given how hot it was outside. Barre really made this trip extremely fun and we could not have asked for a better tour guide. If you are thinking of booking this tour and need an English speaking guide, I would highly recommend requesting him to be your guide.

A very comprehensive tour! Great value! Our stops, in chronological sequence were: 1) Valley of the Kings; 2) the workers’ tombs (we actually didn’t stop there but took photos as we drove slowly by); 3) Luxfour alabaster factory; 4) Queen Hatshepsut Temple; 5) the Colossi of Memnon; 6) Africa Restaurant for lunch; 7) short boat ride across Nile to the other side; 8) short stop outside Temple of Luxor (we didn’t go inside); and 8) Temple of Karnak. Our guide, Roshdy, was very enthusiastic and kept us on schedule so that we could visit all the sites on the packed-full itinerary! Lunch was one of the best that we've had on the many excursions we've done.
