    This was one of my...

This was one of my favorite excursions we went on We had beautiful weather and pictures do not do the gardens justice You need to have plenty of time to see all of it

Response from the operator: We’re really happy to hear that this was one of your favorite excursions and that you enjoyed the beautiful weather and the gardens. It’s true that photos often don’t fully capture how impressive these places are in person, so we’re glad you were able to experience them firsthand. We also appreciate your comment about time. These gardens and sites do deserve enough time to be explored at a relaxed pace, and your feedback about wanting more time there is very valuable for us when reviewing itineraries. Thank you again for your kind words and for taking the time to share your feedback.

    Amazing Experience!

Besides the long commute, which nothing can be done about, the trip was AMAZING! I told our guide it was the Disneyland of Tulips!” Speaking of our guide, Ana Maria and our driver, both were very polite, personable, and friendly. There are several food carts that serve specialty snacks. My wife and I had the strawberries and cream! Also quite good! We would return in a heartbeat!

Response from the operator: We’re delighted to hear that you had such an amazing experience and even described it as the “Disneyland of Tulips” — what a great way to put it! It’s also fantastic to know that Ana María and your driver contributed positively with their politeness, friendliness, and professionalism. We will be very happy to pass your kind words on to them. We’re glad you also enjoyed the local food options, especially the strawberries and cream — a lovely seasonal treat! Thank you again for sharing your experience. We would be very happy to welcome you back anytime.

Keukenhof a must. sere, tour definitely not.

Keukenhof is a magnificent place to visit! However we booked it as an English speaking tour. It was far from that. The guide spoke Spanish, with a minute or so of English. I between . She also spoke so rapidly it was difficult to listen. . When we got there we were not on a tour nor did you need or want one. A very expensive bus ride.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your feedback. Our Keukenhof tours are usually operated in a bilingual format (English and Spanish), as we often have mixed groups. That said, we’re truly sorry to hear that you felt there was not enough explanation in English and that this affected your experience. We sincerely appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we will definitely take your comments into account to improve the balance of languages in future tours. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us.

Day Trip to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam with Tour Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Day Trip to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam with Tour Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Day Trip to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam with Tour Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Day Trip to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam with Tour Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 81 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Day Trip to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam with Tour Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Day Trip to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam with Tour Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Day Trip to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam with Tour Guide?

    +

Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Day Trip to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam with Tour Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
