Your really must visit Ethiopia

This was my first time in Ethiopia and what an experience. I cannot recommend this country highly enough. So beautiful and the people are truly blessed and are very grateful for the smallest interaction. I have made several day trips end excursions during my week here, all with Addis Authentic Tours: a big thank you at this point of the review to Alex and his co-pilot (driver), Adis. A credit also to Mulugeta for having these two guys working for AAT. Alex’s local knowledge is practically bottomless and there was much to learn, as I did, during our trip(s). Adis was and is a brilliant driver. If you are looking to expand your cultural horizons, then please do consider Ethiopia. I was so blown away that I am (cliche alert!) already making plans for my return in October next year so Alex and Adis can escort me far beyond Addis itself to the North and if there is time to the Rift Valley area. I would also recommend that you ask Alex and Adis to take you to visit Tsige at her home where she will cook you authentic Ethiopian food and coffee and you can cook Njera yourself. I did ok. In conclusion, a truly humbling experience that goes way beyond the usual beach vacation…but, hey, each to their own.

I spent two amazing days touring with Alex and his company, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. On the first day, we explored Addis Ababa like locals. Alex showed me all the places I wanted to see and answered every question I had with incredible knowledge and patience. The experience went far beyond my expectations. His professionalism, passion, and genuine love for his country completely changed my perception of Ethiopia and its people. On the second day, we explored the surroundings of the city and learned about Ethiopian culture and the country's diverse tribes. Pleasant and safe authentic ethiopian experience

I took this tour today and I have to say it was truly wonderful, allowing me to experience nature and enchanting landscapes. I was a little hesitant about taking the tour, as I was alone in Addis Ababa for work. However, Alex and Atsede took great care of me and made my experience safe, pleasant, and authentic.
