It is about a 2hr ride...
It is about a 2hr ride from Trelawny to Negril, however this was a private ride with me and my man and Leon was the best driver ever. He was professional, conversational, very knowledgeable about Jamaica and also allowed us to stop at a gift shop and to take pictures along the way. He asked if we wanted to go to Margaritaville where it was loud and crowded or a more relaxed beach further down. We opted for the more relaxed beach for $10 each (cash only). When we arrived at the beach he connected us with Tony who provided superb hospitality. Then, we headed to Rick's Cafe for entertainment, which was a whole vibe. Will definitely go back again on this day trip and highly recommend Leon for all of your driving needs.

Definitely worth the ride and visit
This experience was definitely a 5/5! Our driver was awesome!! He asked me what was on my bucket list and made sure I completed everything on the ride to Negril! Including stopping on the side of the road for some yummy mangoes. The ride was about 2 hours long but seeing the beauty of Jamaica made that trip worth it. He recommended Tree house instead of margarita villa because they will overwhelm you every second. treehouse was calm and beautiful and has really good food! Although it rained the entire time on 7mile beach, I made the best of it swimming in the storm and it was so calming and peaceful. Ricks Cafe was awesome! The most beautiful views, and fun cliff jumping! Definitely wish to return the next time we vacation there! Thank you for an Amazing experience.

Great Trip
This was such a great idea. Leon was our host and he did a great job. We had a great time on the beach with a little horseback riding. Food and drinks were great as well. Rick's Cafe was also great. Great Vibes and great people.
Response from the operator: Big up big up! Thanks for choosing us and I am happy your vacation is something you can happily speak about. We are glad you are pleased as we met your expectations. Thank you for such kind words, Jamaica is always your second home. See you soon again

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Day Tour Negril Beach & Ricks Cafe: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Falmouth.
How much does Day Tour Negril Beach & Ricks Cafe cost?
+
Prices start at $42 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Falmouth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Day Tour Negril Beach & Ricks Cafe take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Falmouth is not rushed.
Is Day Tour Negril Beach & Ricks Cafe worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 58 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Falmouth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Day Tour Negril Beach & Ricks Cafe?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Day Tour Negril Beach & Ricks Cafe suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Day Tour Negril Beach & Ricks Cafe?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Falmouth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Falmouth and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Day Tour Negril Beach & Ricks Cafe start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Falmouth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Falmouth?
+
On Outty we rank every Falmouth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ATV Jungle Safari Tour from Montego Bay, Jamaica Culture Tour: Culinary, Cultural, History and Dance, Chuck Norris Secret Falls and Dunn's River Falls. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Falmouth?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Falmouth?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
