    Seeing Wicklow

Diana is very knowledgeable about the history of Ireland. We toured Wicklow, The Powerscourt Estate, the waterfall... Beautiful countryside. It was a comfortable and nice tour.

    Great hike to Wicklow head

Great hike to Wicklow Head with Gateway to Ireland Tours. Diana is an awesome guide with great stories about the area and local wildlife. She really feels the audience and sets the hike's pace accordingly. I was there with my 10-year old kid. He was happy - the best indication of the quality.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to leave this review, it means a lot and I am so happy that you and your son had a great time. Best, Diana

    Highly recommended

Had a wonderful time with Diana. She was informative and fun. Her knowledge of the area was very evident. She is also extremely knowledgeable of the areas plants and birds. My husband and I enjoyed a hike along the sea with wonderful views of the cliffs and water. We also saw seals with their pups. The scenery was very impressive. It was a great hike. We felt like we got to see a whole other part of Ireland. The length of the tour was perfect. We were looking for something that took us out of Dublin but didn’t require an exhausting 12 hour+ day. We returned refreshed and in time for dinner. It was perfect. I would not hesitate to take another tour with Diana.

Response from the operator: Hi Linda, thank you for your generous review. It makes me so happy to know you had a great time and that I had an opportunity to spend time with you showing off some nature and wildlife of our country. Until next time, be well and thank you again. Best, Diana

    Great hike

I was on this group guided hike in Wicklow. The tour was helpful because i don't have a car and the guide picked me up at dart station snd brought back after. Also guide’s insights about history, plants, etc were valuable. Nature sights are terrific! Everything was well organized.

Response from the operator: Hi Olga, thank you so much for coming along and also for the review. It was a pleasure to have you along. Best, Diana

Is Day Tour from Dublin to Wicklow: Cliffs, Heritage, Wildlife, Gaol worth it?

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Dublin?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dublin?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dublin?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
