The only tour guide to book in Ethiopia
A friend of mine recommended I stopped off in Addis Ababa on my way to Madagascar and what a wise recommendation that was!! She gave me the details for Gashaw from Aspire Ethiopia Tours, Gashaw was prompt in his response to my requests. A few days out from arriving in Ethiopia he contacted me to tell me there was trouble in the North and he gave me many other options for my time in Ethiopia. I decided that I would visit the Omo Valley tribes - Hamar, Karo, Banna and Mursi. Every cloud has a silver lining and I was able to see everything I wanted to. Gashew felt like a friend I had known for a long time, he is a natural, a very funny guy and packed everything in for me to get as much out of my 3 days. I missed out on going to Lalibela, this will give me a good reason to come back and Gashaw will be the first to know!! I highly recommend this company.

Experience with Aspire Ethiopia Tours and Gashaw
We had an unforgettable experience with Aspire Tour while exploring Ethiopia, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the tour was very well organized, with a thoughtfully designed itinerary that showcased the country’s incredible diversity of history, culture, and natural wonders. Every destination was well chosen and well timed, allowing us to truly appreciate each place without feeling rushed. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Lalibela, an unforgettable stop where we saw the rock-hewn monolithic churches, which was awe-inspiring. Another was visiting Lake Tana, the beautiful source of the Blue Nile. The scenery was beautiful, and learning about the historical and cultural importance of the lake and its surrounding monasteries added great depth to the experience. Being able to see hippos in the lake and people riding on reed boat added to the excitement. The journey to the Danakil Depression was truly something else and easily one of the most extraordinary experiences of our lives. It really feels like a different world, with its surreal landscapes, vibrant colors, and extreme environment. I do not think we will ever visit a place on Earth more colourful than this, which I thought was nature’s chemical dump. Visiting the active volcanoes in the region the preceding day was absolutely thrilling. What truly sets Aspire Tour apart is the personal care and professional approach of Mr. Gashaw. He is incredibly kind, hospitable, and reliable, always making sure that details were taken care of and that we were comfortable throughout the journey. We may have had a few questions on the way but that regardless, his passion for Ethiopia and genuine concern for his guests made the experience even more special. Overall, Aspire Tour delivered very satisfactory travel experience that lived up to our expectations. If you are looking for a reliable company with excellent planning, deep local knowledge, and outstanding hospitality to explore Ethiopia’s most fascinating destinations, Aspire Tour is would be one to go with.

Ethiopia and its rich culture
Aspire Ethiopia Tours is the agency you must find to travel to Ethiopia..the young dynamic owner Mr Gashaw Newt organised a perfect trip ..we visited Lalibela Gondar Bishoftu and Addis Ababa. Gashaw took care of all details from booking our 3 internal flights, transportation hotels guides n also helped us with money exchange..treated us to Macchiato and we all received a parting surprise..a personalised gift and a packet of Ethiopian coffee...this was a great gesture which we will cherish. I found Aspire when I was doing a search to travel to Ethiopia which was 3 years ago and connected well with him with his quick responses but unfortunately we decided to travel to Philippines n Taiwan in March 24. Then we travelled elsewhere and now got the right season n time for Ethiopia 2026 and then got back to Aspire n reconnected luckily had saved his WA number as his email was changed. His quick replies made it easy to create an itinerary for our senior group which we had to change a few times and then fix dates which was a problem as we were doing Saudi Arabia n Ethiopia n the Festival of Ramadan was a hurdle to get our dates right so finally we arrived Ethiopia on 3rd Feb. We had a great cultural experience travelling around Ethiopia with Gashaw who accompanied our group of 20 pax and now going back enlightened with this visit and lovely memories of this less travelled country . Ethiopia a country with its own language, script, food, clothing religion,time ,scenic beauty etc And above all the trip was very cost effective.. Thank you Gashaw n your team.. Perfect. Better than any expectations
Excellent. Gashaw is a great organiser. He planned my ten days travel in Ethiopia as per my requests. He answers soon to all questions, he provides a perfect service. The guides were very kind, the accomodations were very comfort. He's very kind and the price is good, compared to other agencies. Everything was even better than my expectations. I am very satisfied with everything. Go with him,and don't think anything else.
