Excellent Small Group Tour with an Outstanding Guide – Nikki
We had a wonderful experience on the Saigon City and Cu Chi Tunnels Small Group Tour, and I would highly recommend it, especially for anyone looking for a well-organised small group experience. Our guide, Nikki from TNK Travel, picked us up promptly at around 8:30 AM and looked after us throughout the entire day. From the beginning, she was friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, and very professional. We started with the Independence Palace, where Nikki gave us a clear and interesting explanation of the history of the Presidential Palace. She patiently took us from room to room and explained the significance of each area in a very simple and easy-to-understand way. We then visited the Central Post Office and the War Remnants Museum, where Nikki provided useful historical information about the Indochina Wars and helped us understand the background behind the exhibits. The tour continued with lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Nikki explained how the tunnel system was constructed and how people survived under extremely difficult wartime conditions. She explained the underground living areas, kitchens, bedrooms, hospitals, storage areas, command centres, and the various hidden entrances and traps. What impressed me most was how Nikki looked after everyone in the group. We had a small three-year-old child with us, and Nikki was incredibly kind and attentive to the child throughout the tour. She even held the child's hand and made sure the little one was comfortable while continuing to guide the group. She did this naturally and enthusiastically, without ever making the rest of the group feel delayed or inconvenienced. The tour was very well organised, and bottled water was provided for everyone. Nikki explained everything in a simple, clear, and enjoyable way, making the historical information easy to understand without making it feel like a long lecture. There was also an opportunity to try the shooting range at the Cu Chi Tunnels, although this was not included in our package and required an additional payment. Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Length of Visit 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Group Size: Our group was small, with around 10 people, which made the experience much more comfortable and personal. Staff: 2 staff members – 1 driver and 1 guide Atmosphere: Very good and enjoyable. Best For: Small groups, couples, families, and travellers interested in history and culture. Overall: A special thank you to Nikki from TNK Travel for making our day so enjoyable. She is a genuinely excellent guide — friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, patient, and very attentive to her guests. Her ability to explain Vietnam's history in a simple and interesting way made the entire experience much more enjoyable. I also really appreciated the way she looked after our young child while continuing to manage the tour professionally. Nikki is a real asset to TNK Travel, and I would definitely recommend this tour to other travellers visiting Ho Chi Minh City. 🇻🇳❤️ Thank you, Nikki, for a fantastic day!

My wife and I joined this tour on 6 August 2026, and it was one of many highlights of our time in Vietnam. It was an incredibly educational and fascinating experience, while also being deeply emotional. Learning about the horrors of the Vietnam War and visiting important historical landmarks gave us a much greater understanding of Vietnam’s history. One of the most touching parts of the tour was visiting the workshop where people affected by Agent Orange create beautiful handicrafts. It was inspiring to see how they are given meaningful work and the opportunity to earn an income despite the challenges they face. And we also had the chance to buy some of their beautiful products. Our guide, Peter, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, engaging, patient, and explained everything in a way that was both interesting and easy to understand. He answered questions thoughtfully and made the entire day enjoyable. A special thanks also to our driver, who ensured we had a safe and comfortable journey. The vehicle was always cool and comfortable when we returned after each stop, which was greatly appreciated in the Vietnamese heat. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. We left with a much deeper understanding of Vietnam’s history and culture, and we were extremely satisfied with both the service and the overall experience. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

Great experience with Peter as our guide
We had a wonderful experience. Our guide, Peter, was patient, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job of sharing interesting and relevant information throughout the tour. He knew when it was a good time to stop for toilet breaks and was very patient when we needed to buy more water. His English was excellent, making it easy to understand everything and ask questions. He answered all of our questions thoroughly, was punctual for pick-up, and greeted us with a warm smile. Peter truly made the experience enjoyable, and we would highly recommend him. He also let our driver know when we would be coming back so that the car was cool and ready for us. The lunch was also nice, as we could choose from multiple options beforehand and it was ready for us when we arrived, so no waiting for food! I highly recommend this tour! Very professional and informative.

Ho Chi Minh City and Ci Chu Tunnels
Our guide spoke English well and had a vast knowledge of Vietnams history. He was enthusiastic, entertaining and friendly. He kept us on time and informed with good humour. Our driver kept us safe, the air conditioned bus was a welcome reprieve from the heat between stops. The bottled water kept us hydrated enough without us needing too many toilet stops . A long day but well worthwhile. We were a group of 10 from all over the world.

Brilliant guide, Handsome Huy, who spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. Worthwhile tour covering main city sights, war museum and Cu Chi tunnels. Good quality lunch. Good van and driver. Would recommend this company and use again.
