We set up a 2 day tour, first one to Pammukale/Hierapolis and the next day Ephesus, the house of Virgin Mary and Temple of Artemis. Harun picked us up at the port of Kusadasi on time, both days with a new big van. My husband has some mobility issues and I talked to Harun before hand about my concerns and he set up the tours in a way to avoid the bigger crowds. Harum is very knowledgeable about history, archaeology, religion and tied everything in a way that kept my teenagers attention. In Pammukale my daughter saw some paragliders and Harum contacted the company and set up for me and my daughter, we had memorable photos and videos of our adventure. This was completely out of the schedule, but he wanted to make sure we had the best time in Pammukale. Lunch was included in the tour and it was delicious!! I’m still dreaming about the tahini, walnut & honey pide!! The place was small, not a touristy spot, but one where locals eat and I’m glad that we got to experience such good food. Next day he picked us up again at the port for our Ephesus, house of Virgin Mary, Temple of Artemis and a mosque. Again, we learned so much history from him, my kids learned more about the Greek, Roman & Byzantine empires from him than school. Again, no rush, we took our time to see, to pray, to learn and took time to enjoy the beauty of each of the sites. Lunch was delicious again, time to learn about the art of Turkish carpet, got some treats as well. In short, our time in Turkey felt short, there’s so much to see and we need to go back again and definitely will use Castle Tours. Harum was such an honor to meet you!
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt and detailed review. It was truly an honor to guide you and your family during your two‑day visit to Turkey. I’m delighted to hear that both your Pamukkale/Hierapolis day and your Ephesus & Virgin Mary House tour became meaningful experiences for all of you. I’m especially grateful for your kind words regarding the planning around your husband’s mobility needs. Creating a comfortable, crowd‑free, and relaxed experience is always a priority for us, and I’m glad the timing and pacing worked well for your family. Your story about the paragliding in Pamukkale made me smile — seeing your daughter’s excitement and being able to arrange that last‑minute adventure for you was a joy. Those memories (and the photos!) are the moments that make travel unforgettable. I’m also happy you enjoyed the local lunch spots. Sharing real Turkish flavors — like the tahini, walnut & honey pide — is one of the best parts of showing guests our region. It means a lot to hear that your teenagers stayed engaged and learned so much about Greek, Roman, and Byzantine history. Knowing that your family felt no rush, had time to pray, reflect, and truly enjoy each site is the greatest compliment we could receive. We would be honored to welcome you back to Turkey again. There is still so much to explore, and Castle Travel will always be here to create another memorable journey for you. Warmest regards, Harun Yıldırım Castle Travel

Don't sleep on this day tour!
We had such a great time with Castle Travel on our Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour. We came to Selcuk just for this! Aron, who organized everything for us, was super easy to communicate with on WhatsApp, which made the whole booking process a breeze. The tour was well-organized, and the pickup from our hotel was so convenient—made everything so much easier! Definitely worth it to have all the details handled for you. Pamukkale itself is once in a lifetime—the pools are absolutely breathtaking. Our guide, Yetkim, was awesome—super knowledgeable and really passionate about the history of the sites. We had plenty of time to explore Pamukkale and Hierapolis at our own pace without feeling rushed. And Umut, our driver, made sure we were comfortable throughout the whole day. The buffet lunch was a nice break. The main course was okay, but the desserts were fantastic, and the drinks, although not included, were reasonably priced. Overall, don’t sleep on this tour! It was amazing, and Castle Travel made it a stress-free, memorable day. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Kaity! Thank you very much, for taking our tour and sharing your real experiences about our tour on this social media platform. I hope this experience you wrote will guide many travelers to go on tour with us. Aron

Very knowledgeable across three different private day tours.
Yesra guided us for three different private day tours out of Kusadasi - including Ephesus, Aphrodisias, Pamukkale, Prienne, Miletus, and Didyma - many locations, and yet Yesra and was very knowledgeable at each different location. Yesra has good English, was very friendly, and also adjusted the itinerary to suit our preferences on each day. We enjoyed our tours and time with Yesra and recommend that book your guided tour with Yesra!

Fantastic private day trip from bodrum
Would highly recommend Castle. Communication before the day was excellent. On the day they arrived promptly and contacted us on arrival. Our guide spoke fluent English and was very knowledgeable about the places we visited, adding to the whole experience. Lunch was at a local Turkish restaurant and was very good. Pacing of the day was very much down to what we wanted, and plenty of stops during the whole day if needed. Cost included transport, driver, guide, lunch and entrance tickets. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Daily Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from Kusadasi and Selcuk: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kusadasi.
How much does Daily Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from Kusadasi and Selcuk cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kusadasi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Daily Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from Kusadasi and Selcuk take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kusadasi is not rushed.
Is Daily Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from Kusadasi and Selcuk worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 36 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kusadasi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Daily Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from Kusadasi and Selcuk?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Daily Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from Kusadasi and Selcuk suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Daily Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from Kusadasi and Selcuk?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kusadasi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kusadasi and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Daily Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour from Kusadasi and Selcuk start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kusadasi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kusadasi?
+
On Outty we rank every Kusadasi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include FOR CRUISERS: Ephesus & Virgin Mary Tour with ENTRY TICKET+LUNCH, Ephesus Temple of Artemis and House of Mary Private Half Day Tour, Ephesus and Temple of Artemis Private Tour from Kusadasi Port. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kusadasi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kusadasi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
