5. Cidrerie Lebrec

   At the heart of the Normandy countryside, near Omaha Beach, Domaine Lebrec in Englesqueville-la-Percée offers a charming and authentic cider tasting experience. Set in a traditional Norman farm, the visit begins with a warm welcome from the Lebrec family, producers for generations. You’ll discover how their cider is made—from apple orchard to bottle—using time-honored methods. Inside the rustic tasting room or under the apple trees, you’ll sample a variety of craft ciders, from crisp and dry to smooth and fruity, along with Pommeau and Calvados, Normandy’s iconic apple brandy. 6. Bayeux

   Leaving La Percée and Domaine Lebrec, we begin a peaceful return to Bayeux along some of the smallest countryside roads Normandy has to offer. These quiet lanes wind through open fields, apple orchards, and hedgerows, far from traffic and noise. It feels like stepping into another time—just you, the landscape, and the soft hum of your electric bike. We pass through tiny hamlets and farms, where stone houses and old barns sit untouched by modern life.
