Maras Moray Tours
Moray is an archaeological site located approximately 4.5 miles from the town of Maras and 39 miles from Cusco. Its most impressive feature is its system of circular agricultural terraces, which are up to 330 feet deep. Some people believe that the Incas used this place as a kind of laboratory to determine the optimal conditions for growing crops of each species.

Parque Arqueologico Pisac
We will visit the stunning ruins of Pisac and its colourful local market. An incredible site with relatively small number of tourists visiting daily. This place has different buildings such as plazas, temples, pools and other structures, that were constructed between the 10th and 11th centuries AD. We highly recommend reserving several hours to explore this site. The Inca architecture is impressive as they used their techniques to build enormous terraces which go from south to east covering a huge mountain located from 3,000-3,450 masl (9,843 - 11,319 fasl). Its palaces and the way the stone blocks have been placed is truly incredible.

My immersion trip into Peru.
I just returned from a 10 day immersion trip in Peru with Studia Spanish. It was one of the most incredible trips I have been on. We saw The Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Palcoyo Mountain and much more. Everything was arranged perfectly from airport shuttles to the incredible train ride to Machu Picchu. The hotels, native guides, and drivers were carefully selected to insure safe, comfortable, and informative experiences to some of the most historic and beautiful places in South America and the world. If your into ancient history surrounded in natural beauty, I highly recommend you contact Patricia with Studia Spanish.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review, it means a great deal! A 10-day immersion trip to Peru is such a unique experience, combining language and culture in the places where it all comes to life, and we're so glad it exceeded expectations. The Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Palccoyo are each extraordinary in their own way, and experiencing them through the lens of the language and history adds a whole other dimension to the visit. We put a lot of care into selecting the right guides, drivers and hotels for exactly that reason, so it's lovely to hear it all came together so well. Thank you for your kind recommendation. We hope to see you on another immersion trip soon!

We toured Peru for 2 weeks with Into Peru and we loved it!
We toured Peru for 2 weeks with Into Peru and we loved it! We went to: Lima - vibrant, warm, best food I’ve ever eaten in my life, felt safe in Miraflores and Barranco etc Iquitos - Amazon jungle was mesmerising, amazing wildlife (we saw sloths, monkeys, pink and grey dolphins all in their natural Habitat). Fished for piranhas, did a night hike through the jungle, swam in the lodge’s pool, went to a local market. Absolutely once in a lifetime. Private tours for our family. Lodge was great, astounded by how good the food was with fresh fish etc. Ica - sand dune riding, sand boarding, tubing, true adrenaline fuelled! We were taken in private vehicle from lima and private tour at huacachina. Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu - outstanding experience with unforgettable memories made. Absolutely loved it all, Maras and Moray, the Inca sights, Machu Picchu is magical. What made the whole thing so enjoyable was knowing we didn’t have to plan or think about how to get around, where we needed to be etc was all taken care of so we could just concentrate on having the best time possible as a family. Travelled with our kids who are 8 and 6 and Into Peru were so good with them, the planning to take into consideration what was best for them and us was the best service I’ve ever had on vacation. They thought about the altitude for the kids so we went straight to the Sacred Valley at a lower altitude to get used to it before ending in Cusco. We had family friendly tours in the jungle. I can’t recommend them highly enough, especially if travelling with kids. Thank you so much for an awesome trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this — what an incredible two weeks you had! Reading through everything you experienced across Lima, Iquitos, Ica, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu genuinely made us smile. Peru really does have it all, and you managed to cover so much of it. Iquitos is always a highlight for families — sloths, pink dolphins, piranha fishing and a night hike in the jungle is the kind of trip that children (and parents!) talk about for years. And then to go from that to the sand dunes of Huacachina and the Inca sites of the Sacred Valley — what a contrast. We're especially pleased that the altitude planning worked so well for your little ones. Starting in the Sacred Valley at a lower altitude before heading up to Cusco is exactly the right approach with children aged 6 and 8, and it's something we always factor in carefully. Thank you for trusting us with such an important family trip. Comments like yours are why we do what we do. We hope Peru stays with all of you for a very long time!

A wonderful trip with family thanks to Into Peru
We had a truly amazing time in Peru, we had no idea how to plan everything and are so glad we chose Into Peru to do it for us. We travelled with kids and going down to the sacred valley straight away definitely helped get used to the altitude. We toured all of the sacred valley, Cusco and Machu Picchu private and it was all fantastic. Thank you so much for making our trip unforgettable!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review, it means a great deal to us! Travelling Peru with children takes a little extra planning, and we're so glad that starting with the Sacred Valley helped the whole family acclimatise gradually before heading up to Cusco and Machu Picchu. That's always our recommendation for families, and it's lovely to hear it made such a difference to your experience. We hope to welcome you all back to Peru one day!

Into Perú is amazing
Into Perú is a great travel agency. They planned our trip from day 1. We visited Perú and Cusco. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, our drivers were always on time. The tour guides were exceptional. They have an amazing team. We went to a Cusco City Tour, to the Sacred Valley and to Machu Picchu. Into Perú, organized all the transportation, hotel stays and the entrance to every place. I definitely recommend them. They did an amazing job.
Response from the operator: Thank you! Cusco City, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu is a great combination and it's good to hear the transport, accommodation and entries all ran smoothly from arrival to departure. That end-to-end coordination is exactly what we aim for. Appreciate the recommendation!

Why this scores 65
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cusco: The best of The Sacred Valley PRIVATE Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Cusco: The best of The Sacred Valley PRIVATE Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $219 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cusco: The best of The Sacred Valley PRIVATE Tour take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Cusco: The best of The Sacred Valley PRIVATE Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cusco: The best of The Sacred Valley PRIVATE Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cusco: The best of The Sacred Valley PRIVATE Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 12-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cusco: The best of The Sacred Valley PRIVATE Tour?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cusco: The best of The Sacred Valley PRIVATE Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
