Best in Class Service

Andina Expeditions were excellent. They proactively contacted us the day before our drop off to advise a protest may affect our journey. They rescheduled the time for earlier to mitigate any problems. As it happened, the protest had already begun but the driver parked in a safer location and guided us through the protesters insisting he still carried both of our suitcases! Absolutely incredible service. Well done Andina.

Offensive anti-religious propaganda and late

Afyer I confirmed, I asked if the driver would come in the hotel to get us in the lobby. We were asked us to wait outside at 8:30am, which we did. It was freezing cold and the driver was 10 minutes late. Normally, this is not an issue, but I was extremely sick from the altitude and on oxygen and needed to leave the oxygen in the hotel. So I was cold, disabled, and without oxygen and no place to sit. Worse, the driver had an extremely offensive icon in his car of our Lord, Jesus Christ, being abused. While I would fight for his right to do and believe as he likes, it was extremely offensive to us, especially 2 days before a very holy day for Catholics. Again, believe as you like, but we found it offensive. On the plus side, we did get to the airport on time with all our things, and he did help with the bags. I suspect this person will just wonder why we didn't give a better tip, but it would have been greater with better service and a wiser choice of political statement display.

Response from the operator: Thanks for your review Mr. Michael: We have been waiting for you on the main door of JW Marriot since 8:20, but unfortunately there was a quee behind our car and we had to round the block that gave us a 10 minute delay. So sorry for that. About your Situation with Oxygen, we never had that information, otherwise we would have provided our oxygen on the car, Please we would recommend to advise about your situation on future services, then we can do our best. About the Religious stamp on the car: This is an stamp of "SEÑOR DE HUANCA" OR "THE LORD OF HUANCA". a very sacred stamp for the locals. We have the stamp with a representation of Jesus suffering because that suffering is something that remind us that Jesus offered his life for the wellness of humans. We would like to recommend the get involved into the local culture, to understand the destinations and the way peolple honor their traditions and not asume some positions that are not correct. By the way, Lord of huanca or "señor de huanca" is the protector of drivers, then a big percentage of drivers have them into their cars. Thanks for your comments

Timely pickup to the airport

The driver arrived early and picked me up. I was promptly sent to the airport. He was courteous too. Do note that they might only reply to you if you contact them directly. My hotel had a change in venue, and they were prompt in their reply.

Cusco Airport Departure Transfer: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does Cusco Airport Departure Transfer cost?

+

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cusco Airport Departure Transfer take?

+

Plan for about 0.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is Cusco Airport Departure Transfer worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cusco Airport Departure Transfer?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cusco Airport Departure Transfer suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 0.5-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Cusco Airport Departure Transfer?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 0.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cusco Airport Departure Transfer start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
