Excellent and Stress-Free Transportation Service
We used Roatan Transport during our cruise stop in Roatan, and I was very glad we had booked our transportation in advance. When we exited the cruise port, it was extremely busy, with many drivers aggressively trying to sell their services. Having our transportation already arranged made the start of our day completely stress-free. We were a group of 10 people, and the round-trip transportation between the cruise port and Paradise Beach Hotel cost only US$20 per person, which was an excellent value. The van was clean and comfortable, and our driver was professional, friendly, and punctual. He stayed with us throughout the day and made sure we were back at the ship exactly on time. I would definitely use Roatan Transport again on my next visit to Roatan and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable transportation.

Great experience
Great experience. Maikol was in touch from the moment our ship docked to make sure everything went smoothly.

Gorgeous beach with easy access from the port
It was amazing. The driver was very friendly. He picked me up on time. The beach was a very short drive and it was absolutely gorgeous.

Honest Aussie Review
Maikol was a very nice bloke who offered the best advice on where to locate yourself on West Bay Beach. We had a great time talking to him on the way to and from our cruise ship. He even escorted us down to the beach from the road to make sure we knew where to go. Maikol preferred to let him know on arrival in his time (Roatan time) as compared to (Ship time) or refer to what time you are talking in when arranging to be picked up. Overall a great experience, he also recommended being picked up 2 hours before boarding time due to the traffic back to port on the island which was a great shout as there was a little bit coming back.

Scam don't do the upgraded beach!
It is a scam! Takes you to a beach that costs 23.00 for a seat on the beach! No restraunts bc for hotel guests only, snack bar closed! No where to eat or drink spent 1 hour had to return need some water and lunch. It is only a taxi!
Response from the operator: We are sorry our product didn’t meet your expectations, however we feel your review is not being fair for our small business. We feel you got confused at the booking moment, you wanted a tour but we don’t sell tours for $25. We definitely feel We fulfilled our product description and for all our features customers please read our description. Our product name is Cruise Passengers beach express and our description is pick up at the port, take you to the beach (free entrance) pick you up at the beach later and bring you to the port on time. When we met early in the morning you mentioned you thought it was a tour because you read some reviews that said something about it, but our product description, I feel is very clear. Then we noticed our service wasn’t what you expected and offered you the option of entering through a resort which give you access to beach chairs, shade, showers, restrooms , wifi and pool and told you, you could walk around the beach for more options of food etc. one hour later you called us that wanted to go back because the restaurant wasn’t open yet and you needed a coke and you wouldn’t walk by the beach. So for this reason we feel you didn’t understand our product description, and left our small business an unfair review. Our promise from now on will be to try to improve our product description so it can be easier to understand, that is just round trip to the beach not a tour.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cruise Passenger Beach Express: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Roatan.
How much does Cruise Passenger Beach Express cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Roatan usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cruise Passenger Beach Express take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Roatan is not rushed.
Is Cruise Passenger Beach Express worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Roatan, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cruise Passenger Beach Express?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cruise Passenger Beach Express suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cruise Passenger Beach Express?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Roatan can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Roatan and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cruise Passenger Beach Express start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Roatan within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Roatan?
+
On Outty we rank every Roatan experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hydrobike Harbor Tour, Reef Snorkel & Private Island Beach Break, Roatán Island Tour: Sloth & Monkey Park, Rum, and Chocolate, Roatan Wildlife Monkeys,Sloths, chocolate Rum tasting Island Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Roatan?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Roatan?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Cruise Passenger Beach Express?
+
Included: In-vehicle air conditioning. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Cruise Passenger Beach Express?
+
Walk up the hill for about 5 minutes, then go out the gate and walk down the hill for another 5 minutes outside the port, then you will see people waiting with signs, look for ROATAN TRANSPORT sign. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Cruise Passenger Beach Express offered in?
+
It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

+
