More unique than a traditional tour, but could be better

I have to be honest, this one was just okay for me. It was definitely a more fun way to learn about the city and walk around than a plain tour, and we were glad we did it. On the other hand, I didn't feel like I got much out of it that I couldn't have done myself with a little time on Google. Be aware that this isn't a "puzzley" scavenger hunt. Questions were things like [making this one up so I don't spoil]: "Why is New York called the big apple? Find a local to tell you, and take a picture with them eating an apple." There was also no order to the questions - this wasn't a hunt that took us from point to point, we just got a message with all 20-something questions listed out at the beginning and then only interacted with the host whenever we sent one of our answers in. Yes, the hunt made us to get information from locals instead of the internet, which was often fun; and we did enjoy taking silly pictures - so if that sounds like your cup of tea then go for it!

Fun hunt to explore Santa Fe

This was a unique and fun way to explore Santa Fe! There was a creative list of landmarks to find and activities to do, which involved interacting with locals, which was very fun. Two hours was the right amount of time for our group, which included adults, seniors, and kids. Go with a group who is excited about it and interested in participating, that will make your experience better. I recommend this scavenger hunt for both tourists and locals to explore the town!

    Different kind of hunt

We learned a lot and met some fun and informative people. It took longer than the 2 hours and we still didn't totally finish.

Response from the operator: Thats true that the hunt is designed to be challenging. Only 10% of hunters in any of my 20 locations finish the hunt in 2 hours( which is the amount of time I am interacting as a game show host in your pocket on whats app). The good news is the way the game is designed is you get to use your own creativity and intuition to choose the order of how you tackle the appx 20 challenges, unlike an escape room where you can get stuck and not move forward. You will make it to my HA( High Achievers) club if you manage to do all the clues in 2 hours.

Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt of Santa Fe: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santa Fe.

How much does Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt of Santa Fe cost?

    +

Prices start at $39 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santa Fe usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt of Santa Fe take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santa Fe is not rushed.

Is Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt of Santa Fe worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 81 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 63 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santa Fe, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt of Santa Fe?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt of Santa Fe suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt of Santa Fe?

    +

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santa Fe can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santa Fe and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt of Santa Fe start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santa Fe within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Santa Fe?

    +

Santa Fe runs on culture: Canyon Road gallery walks, Georgia O'Keeffe country and Ghost Ranch tours, pueblo visits, green chile food tours and Bandelier hikes. Cultural access and guide expertise matter more than price here. On Outty we rank every Santa Fe experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Santa Fe Revisited, Santa Fe Ultimate History Walking Tour, The ORIGINAL Wander New Mexico "Sip & Savor" Plaza Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santa Fe?

    +

April to June and September to October, with Indian Market in August. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santa Fe?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
