    Great Day Exploring Cozumel

Had a great day with Carlos from Cozumel Fun Excursions. We drove the jeep and followed behind Carlos. We stopped at an organic Tequila farm, saw a small Mayan ruin, visited Punta Sur Park for beach time and lunch. We then continued our tour of the island and back to the boat. We enjoyed our day.

    An Authentic Jeep Experience

We were on a NCL Cruise and booked this excursion independently through Shore Excursion Group. We were docked at Punta Langosta Terminal. We took a taxi to Cozumel Fun Excursions It was about an 8 minute drive; the walk was estimated at 1 hour. We paid the taxi $5/person Alex was our tour guide. The tour started at 1030 but by the time we got the jeeps situated we left a little after 11. There were 5 guests total in our group so there were two jeeps. These are older Jeep Wranglers, our was probably a 2004 TJ The Jeeps are In rough shape. The speedometer, RPM, and thermostat did not work. Only the gas gauge seemed to be working. There was no AC and no radio. It felt like the heat was on coming out at your feet but the knobs were all torn out so it was difficult to assess. The jeeps are standard so be sure you know how to drive stick. Aside from the condition of the jeep it was a fun experience. Christian at the tequila tasting was very knowledgeable and kind. The tequila ranged for $85-140 a bottle. The beach was beautiful. The water was warm. The food was delicious. I had the fish tacos and they were authentic. The drinks on the beach are expensive. I just got a bottle water but two of the party got mixed drinks for 44$ USD. Then we went to the light house, saw a crocodile, and back to the beginning. Alex was kind enough to give us a lift back to the terminal so we did not have to take a taxi. This was not part of the package he just did it to be kind. We gave him a $40 tip for the tour (3 adults) and then $10 for the ride. We would book again

    Best Cozumel Experience

Alan was a superb guide on our Jeep tour; we greatly enjoyed his company and knowledge of the island. The tequila tasting w Chris was enjoyable - this coming from someone who thought they hated tequila. (Just US chemically-based tequila, as it turns out). Our time @ Punta Sur Ecological Reserve was ideal, and we could have spent hours more enjoying the pristine beach, authentic tacos, and festive beverages.

Extremely dishonest front desk and reservation department with uncontrollable weather; poor service

When US airports shutdown due to snow and ice, called to advise Gran Park Royal Cozumel, front desk transferred me to reservations. I explained we could not come 1-27-26 to 2-3-26 due to airports closed due to weather. We advised to change(Ronald and Sheila Davenport) our confirmation number to 1-29-26 to 2-5-26 which reservations advised there was no problem in doing this. However, upon arrival 1-29-26 front desk and reservation department advised they showed no record of the call and would not change our reservations to 1-29-26 to 2-5-26 even though we ad discussed this will the reservation desk on 1-27-26. WE would have to stay only 5 days and change our airline flights(American Airlines were completely glad to change our original flights from 1-27-26 to 1-29-26 and 2-3-26 to 2-5-26 due to weather) which would be an uncessary expense to us or pay for 2 nights 2-3-26 and 2-4-26 at a cost we were verbally advised of $ 189,00 but in fact they charged our credit card $ 887.00. This is totally dishonest with uncontrollable weather situations. Recommend all Americans to not book with this resort. Also, in each restaurant inadequate number of servers and poor service along with serving shrimp mussy possibly bad..

    Day trip seeing Cozumel

Great tour. You get to see a lighthouse, hangout at the Virgin beach and tour an ecological protected area. Very friendly tour guide (Allen). Very easy check-in process.

Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Adventure with Lunch at Punta Sur Park: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.

How much does Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Adventure with Lunch at Punta Sur Park cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Adventure with Lunch at Punta Sur Park take?

    +

Plan for about 5.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.

Is Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Adventure with Lunch at Punta Sur Park worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 60 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Adventure with Lunch at Punta Sur Park?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Adventure with Lunch at Punta Sur Park suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Adventure with Lunch at Punta Sur Park?

    +

Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cozumel Jeep and Snorkel Adventure with Lunch at Punta Sur Park start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cozumel?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cozumel?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cozumel?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
