Not worth the price.
We were picked up at 5:50 hrs in our hotel at Cancun. The transportation from Cancun to Cozumel took 3 hours. After we arrived to Cozumel the boat tour to El Cielo only lasted 2 hours and then we were given 4.5 hrs of free time. We were back at our hotel by 22:30 hrs. The pros: 1. The 2 hours of boat tour were great. The fish cocktail snack and the drinks were great. 2. The view at the restaurant was very nice. The cons: 1. Only 2 hrs of boat tour for 6 hrs of transportation is not worth the price. 2. We were given a miserable brown bag breakfast with a depressing sandwich, a small juice and an apple. 3. The lunch was depressing as well. It consisted of a small plate of food (to choose from) and a single non-alcoholic drink. For a tour of $175 USD per person we were expecting a 4 hrs tour and a decent lunch. You can skip the miserable brown bag breakfast if you want to cut costs.
Response from the operator: All the details you describe it is in the inclusions of this product, at the moment you buy this you must read everything and you can notice all the details you mentioned. Imagine that you only pay 175 usd for a ground transportation from cancun to playa del carmen and then sea transportation to cross to the island and plus the snorkeling tour of 2 hours, so the price is fair. You have time to know an Island like this, if you want to spend 4 hours to go to an Island that is 100 km far from cancun I thing you have no Idea what traveling is.

Not much fish to see for snorkeling
Service is good but the snorkeling place doesn’t have much fish to see. Disappointed on snorkeling. Food is salty and so so. We didn’t expect much about the food, overall it was average. I would save time do snorkeling in cancun or book something else
Response from the operator: Of course, the number of fish on the reef is beyond our control. We’re sorry that on the day you visited, the fish decided to swim elsewhere. We greatly appreciate you sharing your feedback with us, and we’ll continue to stay in constant communication with our visitors to learn about their personal experiences.

THE BEST TOUR I TOOK IN CANCUN
The experience was unforgettable. The guide and the assistance from Mr. Juan were very pleasant since they are bilingual, and I never had a problem with communication. Thank you so much, I will come back a thousand times more!!! Success, Juann!!

All inclusive daytour ftom Cancun to Cozumel
It was an overall good experience with some minor irregularities. The tour is offered inclusive of all taxes, but I had to pay tax to the guide anyway. I have asked the tour operator, Global Top Experience and Juan told me that there has been a mistake/misunderstanding and I have to pay the tax to the driver and I’ll get a refund from Tripadvisor. Problem solved. The boat tour to the reefs is very good. Captain Alfredo makes the best ceviche I have ever had. The crew is very helpful and service-minded. The drinks and snacks in the water at the end of the tour are amazing. Breakfast and lunch are included and are very good. I was the only not Spanish speaking person, so I felt a bit lost sometimes. The guide explained briefly in English and extensively in Spanish. Overall a good experience but a bit highly priced.
Response from the operator: Dear Margreet thanks for all your support during your tour day, we are glad to hear all this comments positives and negatives it will be helpfull for all the team to improve. We hope to have you again soon with us.

Well organized but too little snorkel time
Tour is good and well organized, but the snorkel in Columbia Reef is too short. You just go around the boat for like 30 minutes, but don't have the possibility to explore much
Response from the operator: Thank you for your comments, Giovanni. The tour includes 30 minutes of snorkeling at the Colombia Reef precisely so that you can spend more time at El Cielo Reef, which is the main attraction of this tour.

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cozumel El Cielo All Inclusive Tour from Cancun: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does Cozumel El Cielo All Inclusive Tour from Cancun cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cozumel El Cielo All Inclusive Tour from Cancun take?
+
Plan for about 14 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is Cozumel El Cielo All Inclusive Tour from Cancun worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel El Cielo All Inclusive Tour from Cancun?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cozumel El Cielo All Inclusive Tour from Cancun suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 14-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cozumel El Cielo All Inclusive Tour from Cancun?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 14-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cozumel El Cielo All Inclusive Tour from Cancun start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
