Nice tour, despite rain
When we took the ferry to the island, we were rather skeptical about the weather. Playa del Carmen spilled as if from bucket, sea very violent and our son (8) struggled with it. At the port we were picked up directly by Gerson. He went to great lengths to show various attractions and told interesting things about the island. We drove to the other side of the ATV tour. There were puddles everywhere on the paths but the rain stopped and the sun came out. Wonderful 😊 Even though we were full of mud from top to bottom, it was mega fun. Our son was absolutely thrilled. We can recommend this tour 100% even in bad weather. Lg Nadine

Great tour guide J.C.!!
My family (2 adults and 2 senior parents) went on a private customized excursion with tour guide J.C. Was fantastic!! Such a kind and friendly person. He took us around the city and explained the history of the city and even taught us some Spanish. We got cold waters along the way, which was nice because it was HOT outside! Started the day going to the ruins (about an hour inside with another tour guide Jorge that was arranged by J.C.), then had a great time in the ATV park (again, J.C. arranged everything for us and set us up with another tour guide for the ATV ride). We each got our own ATV, and spend about an hour inside. Even jumped into a cenote to end off the ride. After the ATV, our last stop was snorkeling at a beach front resort. J.C. came into the waters with us and guided us around and showed us the different kinds of fish and sea life. It was so beautiful! He then took us back to our cruise ship port with plenty of time to spare. Overall an amazing day with J.C. Highly recommend touring with him and will definitely look to book a tour with him next time.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are glad that you liked the excursion and would like to send greetings from JC. We hope you enjoyed your vacation and to welcome you soon in Mexico again.

Excellent service from León Tours. I was delighted with the island.
I hired the tour with León Tour, it was an excellent choice, the guide/driver Carlos picked me up punctually at 0900, the tour included a visit to Z.A. San Gervacio and Parque Punta Sur, with tickets included and guide. In San Gervacio Jorge helped me and the entire explanation and tour was very interesting. And in Punta Sur the visit to the Lighthouse and the museum also met my expectations. The walk along the coast was wonderful, the guide was always attentive and respectful. Without a doubt, I would hire the services of León Tours again. I was delighted with the island and that was largely due to the services of this agency.

Why this scores 49
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cozumel ATV Tour & Beach Break: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cozumel.
How much does Cozumel ATV Tour & Beach Break cost?
+
Prices start at $1800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cozumel usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cozumel ATV Tour & Beach Break take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cozumel is not rushed.
Is Cozumel ATV Tour & Beach Break worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cozumel, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cozumel ATV Tour & Beach Break?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cozumel ATV Tour & Beach Break suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cozumel ATV Tour & Beach Break?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cozumel can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cozumel and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cozumel ATV Tour & Beach Break start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cozumel within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cozumel?
+
On Outty we rank every Cozumel experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Jade Caverns and Mayan Village Cozumel ATV TOUR, Buggy, Beach & Snorkel Blast, ATV 4×4+Cenote+Snorkeling+Beach Club+ Lunch+Sabores de Cozumel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cozumel?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cozumel?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
