Ano Korakiana
Ano Korakiana is a beautiful and traditional Corfiot village built at the foot of the mountains Korentis and Korakio from which it got its name. Ano Korakiana extends linearly in the direction east-west, around two parallel roads which are its backbone. It is a medieval village which has broadly maintained its architecture intact. Many old churches (a total of 37) and the house where, the Bandiera brothers lived while organizing their participation in the Italian revolution, are the most significant sights of the village.

Sokrakion
Historically, Sokraki first appeared in 1343 by participating with other villages of the region, in the construction of the Monastery of Pantokratoras, at the top of the homonymous mountain. It has largely kept its traditional architectural character, with nice, cobbled alleyways, oil mills, two beautiful squares, traditional coffee shops and of course impressive churches dating back to the 16th century.

Strinylas is a mountainous settlement of 38 inhabitants, at an altitude of about 680 meters, in the north of the island of Corfu, just before the top of Mount Pantokrator. It is the settlement with the highest altitude in Corfu. It stands out from the other villages of Corfu in the architecture of the stone houses and in its refreshing mountain climate with the rich vegetation of the area. It is about 28 km from the city of Corfu and about 5.2 km from the top of the Pantocrator, where the monastery of the "High Pantokrator" is built.

Phenomenal Visit of Corfu Past and Present!
What a great tour…the visits to the mountain villages along with the guide narration of the history of Corfu island were phenomenal. Don’t miss out on the historic villages and the indescribable views of the countryside. Mary, our guide, has lived in Corfu her entire life. She brought a unique perspective on what life is like living in Corfu, both past and present. This was our best tour yet on our cruise vacation. Thank you Mary and Leo for sharing the story of Corfu and showing us your beautiful homeland.

Spectacular Views and Experiences with the best Guide and Driver in Corfu
Maria was our guide and Leo was our driver. The van was very nice and comfortable. An experienced driver is a must to traverse the roads ion this mountainous island and Leo had driven these routes many times. Maria provided some vey interesting and entertaining commentary during our travels. She did a perfect job in knowing the true "local" spots and even got a caretaker to open an old chuch that had not been open to "outsiders" in years. Being both born and raised on Corfu Maria and Leo can be credited with providing us with one of, if not, the best day tour that we have ever had - and we've had a bunch. Highly recommend!
