    2. Copenhagen City Hall

Rådhuspladsen translates to City Hall Square. The square is a hot spot for concerts, outdoor exhibitions, celebrations of returning sports heroes, and even political activities. For Christmas, it has become a tradition to light a Christmas tree at City Hall Square on the first Sunday of Advent.

    3. Stroll across the square and take in the cheerful Christmas decorations and market. H.C. Andersen wrote over 150 fairy tales during his life, including several about Christmas or winter. "The Snow Queen" is special because of Disney's "Frozen." Although it has very little in common with H.C. Andersen's original story, it served as inspiration.

    4. Church of Our Lady - Copenhagen Cathedral

The Church of Our Lady (Vor Frue Kirke) is the National Cathedral of Denmark. The church has been rebuilt four times. The fourth church is the church we see today. At the Church of Our Lady is where Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were wed May 14th, 2004.

    5. The Round Tower

The Rundetårn, or "Round Tower", is the oldest European observatory still functioning. Frederik II, King of Denmark and Norway, was the first king to take an interest in astronomy, mainly because of the work of the famous Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe.

    6. Grabrodretorv

Gråbrødetorv, or “The Grey Friars Square,” is named after the Franciscan monastery that once stood on the square. Although most of the houses on the square were destroyed in the Great Fire of 1728, the ones that survived were restored and painted in contemporary colours. This is a great stop for photos!

      10 minutes here

    7. Hojbro Plads

During December, a Christmas market is held in the square, giving the place a festive atmosphere. The most famous landmark of the Højbro Plads is the equestrian statue of Bishop Absalon, erected in the early 1900s. Learn about Danish Christmas traditions and personalities such as "nisser", "julefrokost", and "lille juleaften".

      10 minutes here

    8. Stroget

Strøget is Copenhagen’s and one of Europe’s longest pedestrian streets, with a length of 1.11 kilometres. 9. Copenhagen King's New Square

Kongens Nytorv, from dumping ground and landing place for cargo from ships that embarked at the port of Nyhavn to a baroque garden and housing belonging to the nobility, the square has seen it all. Copenhagen's Christmas Spirit Private Walking Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Copenhagen.

How much does Copenhagen's Christmas Spirit Private Walking Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $309 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Copenhagen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Copenhagen's Christmas Spirit Private Walking Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Copenhagen is not rushed.

Is Copenhagen's Christmas Spirit Private Walking Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 45 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (0/5 across 0 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Copenhagen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Copenhagen's Christmas Spirit Private Walking Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Copenhagen's Christmas Spirit Private Walking Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Copenhagen's Christmas Spirit Private Walking Tour?

    +

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Copenhagen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Copenhagen and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Copenhagen's Christmas Spirit Private Walking Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Copenhagen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Copenhagen?

    +

On Outty we rank every Copenhagen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Grand Day Trip around Copenhagen, Copenhagen Walking Tour: Politically Incorrect Intro, Social Sailing - Copenhagen Canal Tour - Captain's Favorite. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Copenhagen?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Copenhagen?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
