What a Great Cooking Class Experience!
What a way to start our time in Santorini! This was a fun, informative, and totally unexpected gem of an experience for our group of four. We are from the U.S. Midwest and love to cook…and we learned so much while assisting with making some great dishes under the careful and witty guidance of our Chef! The wine we tasted was amazing too! Plus, you get the recipes for what you make! This is a great experience for adults and teenage children!
Response from the operator: Thank you for such a wonderful review! What a lovely way to begin your Santorini adventure! We’re thrilled that your group enjoyed getting hands-on in the kitchen and discovering a few Greek cooking secrets along the way. And knowing that you’re taking the recipes home with you makes us especially happy—now you can recreate a little piece of Santorini in your own kitchen! We’re also glad the wine was a hit. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope the rest of your Greek journey was just as memorable!

Quaint Greek Cooking Class
This is a small cooking class of around 10 guests. I attended with my three sisters and we all had a wonderful experience. Kallyopi and Susan made a phenomenal team. Kallyopi kept us laughing while teaching us simple techniques to prepare a traditional Greek meal. I enjoyed learning more about the area through delicious foods and I look forward to replicating them at home with my children.
Response from the operator: hank you for sharing such a lovely review! We’re especially happy that the four of you enjoyed the experience together. There’s something wonderful about sisters cooking, laughing, and sharing a meal in a new place. Knowing you’re planning to bring these Greek recipes into your own kitchen and share them with your children makes us incredibly happy. We hope every dish you recreate brings back a little taste of Santorini and the memories you made here.

Fun, delicious, and a must-do while visiting Santorini
Absolutely insane experience. This husband and wife power couple made the experience extremely memorable. It’s so clear that Chef Yannis is incredibly knowledgeable and wants to impart his life’s passion to others. It was much more than a cooking class: infused into the experience was rich culture, history, humor, and insider information that a tourist would never be able to ascertain from Greek culture on their own. Upon arrival, Calliope walked us through the wine, which was equally tasty, and kept us company while we waited. We cooked more than we could eat, and it was all incredibly delicious. All the ingredients were organic and there was a high emphasis on locally sourced ingredients with zero waste. I would highly recommend this experience to others, we’re going to try to replicate this as best as we can when we return home.
Response from the operator: Thank you for such an extraordinary review! You captured something very close to our hearts: this experience is about far more than preparing a meal. It is about opening our kitchen, sharing the stories behind the food, and giving our guests a genuine glimpse into the Greek way of life. We’re especially happy that the wine, local ingredients, and zero-waste approach added to the experience. And knowing you’re planning to recreate the dishes back home is the best compliment a chef could receive! It was a real pleasure having you at our table. Until the next time you’re in Santorini!

Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini!: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini! cost?
+
Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini! take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini! worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 82 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 231 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini!?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini! suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini!?
+
Around 81 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cooking Class in Traditional cave house in Santorini! start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
