Amazing cooking lessons and recipes
I did not know what to expect... but then I had the three best hours with two Americans and our chef Kalliopi and her daughter Agapi. It was truly amazing. The environment was beautiful, the ingredients top dollar and the dishes were very good and beautifully plated. As an extra ingredients we got good local wine. A place to visit, experience and remember ❤️.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your beautiful review and for sharing your experience with us. ❤️ We love hearing that the class exceeded your expectations and became such a memorable part of your visit. Sharing our kitchen, local ingredients, and a glass of Santorini wine with guests from around the world is what makes every class unique. It was a pleasure welcoming you, and we hope that whenever you think of Santorini, you'll remember the laughter, the flavors, and the friendships made around our table. We would be delighted to see you again someday!

Tourists from Texas
We loved the cooking class experience and the history of the recipes (from the chef’s grandmother). The old home and setting were great! However, because it is an old home, the kitchen is very small so actual cooking from guests is minimal. We mainly stirred things and cut/sliced vegetables. It might also be important for other guests to know the menu is all vegetarian plus the pasta. No meat/protein at all. Host and chef interaction was fantastic! We would do it again, but would have been helpful to know more up front.

A Must Do! The ladies, omg! The hospitality…🔥. It would make sense, the “invitation” to actually cook in one of the oldest stone cave home was an experience in itself. The homey feeling…⭐️🤯👍🏾The journey the chef took our group of 14 on was fantastic. Her energy was superb and telling ALL her grandma’s secrets! I loved the experience as well as the food WE MADE! I can tell you this, was a 5 off the chart. It was clean and their facilities (WC) were as well. They definitely feed ( no pun) off your energy. Finally I truly enjoyed the history or storytelling of life of the families thru cooking as well as survival. They maximized what that had and created tasty cuisine off a freakin volcano. That there is amazing. If you go with a group preferred but I also feel an intimate size would love and appreciate it as well. By the end we were all family…honestly it didn’t take that long because instantly we were welcomed! Big Greek family! Cheers!

An Absolute MUST Cooking Class
I don’t know where to begin describing the awesome experience we all had. Definitely exceeded our expectations. It was sooooo much fun and we learned a LOT!!!!! There was 14 of us and all was perfect for our group. I’m still in awwwwww about their gardening; fresh foods; culture; etc. The ingredients was amazing; easy to follow. A lot of ladies already cooked from the recipes provided. Oh, the food … beyond yummy. The ladies who facilitated the class, BEYOND fabulous & funnnnnnn! I guarantee that you will have a phenomenal experience with these two ladies.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cooking Class with Private Chef - prepare & enjoy local menu: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Cooking Class with Private Chef - prepare & enjoy local menu cost?
+
Prices start at $110 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cooking Class with Private Chef - prepare & enjoy local menu take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Cooking Class with Private Chef - prepare & enjoy local menu worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cooking Class with Private Chef - prepare & enjoy local menu?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cooking Class with Private Chef - prepare & enjoy local menu suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cooking Class with Private Chef - prepare & enjoy local menu?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cooking Class with Private Chef - prepare & enjoy local menu start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
