    Creative heart warming experience

I highly recommend this Dasik class. The guide is wonderful in explaining and the process is so so relaxing. Also you will learn about korean culture through conversation. You will be highly rewarded with some tea, extra sweets and a wrapping class. I would very happily repeat.

beautiful desert in a relaxing atmosphere - a great experience in Seoul

The workshop location is right above a café in the charming Tongin Market neighborhood—very easy to find and highly accessible by public transport. Stepping up from the bustling street into the workshop felt like entering a peaceful oasis of tranquility and aesthetics. Soo-min welcomed me warmly with a lovely cup of tea and a wonderful introduction to the traditional Dasik we were about to make. The conversation flowed so naturally as we prepared the treats. Soo-min was incredibly patient, generous, and shared interesting anecdotes about both the recipe and Korean culture. At the end, the Dasik were packed into a box, looking like exquisite pieces of jewelry, and then beautifully wrapped in a traditional Korean fabric (Bojagi)—it was absolutely charming. I truly cherished this peaceful time. To top it all off, Soo-min went completely above and beyond—she walked out with me after the workshop to help me find a specific item I couldn't locate in the nearby supermarket, and even made sure I safely caught my bus. I highly, highly recommend this workshop! Thank you, Soo-min! ❤️

Response from the operator: Margalit, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review! Your kind words truly meant a lot to me. It was a pleasure spending that afternoon with you and sharing Dasik, tea, and stories about Korean food and culture. I’m especially glad to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the studio and the process of making and wrapping the Dasik. The Dasik you made really did look like little pieces of jewelry! And of course, it was my pleasure to help you after the class. I’m simply glad I could help in a small way. Thank you again, Margalit, for such a lovely review and for the wonderful time we shared. I hope you enjoy your Dasik and carry a fond memory of your time at SMIN with you. I hope you have a wonderful time in Korea with your family, and I hope to see you again soon. ❤️

Cooking Class for Korean Traditional Dessert near Gyeongbokgung: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seoul.

How much does Cooking Class for Korean Traditional Dessert near Gyeongbokgung cost?

    +

Prices start at ₩100,000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seoul usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cooking Class for Korean Traditional Dessert near Gyeongbokgung take?

Is Cooking Class for Korean Traditional Dessert near Gyeongbokgung worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seoul, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cooking Class for Korean Traditional Dessert near Gyeongbokgung?

    +

Is Cooking Class for Korean Traditional Dessert near Gyeongbokgung suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cooking Class for Korean Traditional Dessert near Gyeongbokgung?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seoul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seoul and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cooking Class for Korean Traditional Dessert near Gyeongbokgung start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seoul within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Seoul?

    +

On Outty we rank every Seoul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best DMZ Tour Seoul: Defector Q&A, 3rd Tunnel & Suspension Bridge, DMZ Tour: Defector Q&A, Tunnel & Suspension Bridge /Hotel pick up, Seoul: Gyeongbok Palace, Hanok Village, and Gwangjang Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Seoul?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Seoul?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
