Fantastic Experience
I did the lesson with Luca and we made tagliatelle, tortelloni, and tiramisu. Luca speaks good English (although he thinks it is only “ok”) but he let me use Italian a lot to practice which I appreciated. He made cooking and learning fun and interesting, and the finished foods were incredible.

Best cooking experience in Bologna!
The experience with Olga was amazing. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, we felt welcomed by Olga in her home. Her expertise, friendly-ness and patience with us making pasta for the first time was absolutely lovely. You can tell Olga is passionate about cooking and we felt blessed to be able to learn from such an artist. I would highly recommend taking a class with Olga!

Wonderfull Experience Making Pasta
My husband and I really enjoyed our time with Oriana. She was very knowledgeable, hospitable and answered all of the many questioned we had. The location of the class was beautiful and comfortable with a an excellent view of the city. We learned a lot about Italian food from Oriana and highly recommend a class with her.

Highlight of Bologna
If you are visiting Bologna, do not leave without taking a cooking class with Olga. It was hands down the highlight of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, Olga made us feel completely at home. Her warmth, patience, and genuine passion for Italian cooking created an experience that was as fun as it was educational. She walked us through every step with care, answered every question, and made the whole experience feel effortless and joyful. The food we made together was absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and authentically Bolognese. But what truly set the experience apart was the thoughtfulness Olga brought to every detail. She sent us home with beautiful recipe cards of every dish we made, along with photos she took throughout the class so we could relive the experience and remember every moment. When we return home and are recreating the dishes for our family, we will think of Olga and the wonderful afternoon we spent in her kitchen. She is a gifted teacher, a gracious host, and a truly lovely person. Five stars without hesitation. Book her. You will not regret it.

An amazing time
We were automatically matched with Simon for our pasta cooking class and it was an amazing time! We made some delicious tagliatelle, ravioli and ate some incredible bread and tiramisu. Simon taught us how to cook these Italian dishes and we showed Simon some of our Dominican music. It was a lovely time! My one suggestion: for sharing the recipes after, prepare a more formal document/pdf more detailed instructions for each dish.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bologna.
How much does Cook Pasta & Tiramisu in a Local Home in Bologna by Cesarine cost?
+
Prices start at $97 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bologna usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cook Pasta & Tiramisu in a Local Home in Bologna by Cesarine take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bologna is not rushed.
Is Cook Pasta & Tiramisu in a Local Home in Bologna by Cesarine worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 34 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bologna, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cook Pasta & Tiramisu in a Local Home in Bologna by Cesarine?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cook Pasta & Tiramisu in a Local Home in Bologna by Cesarine suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cook Pasta & Tiramisu in a Local Home in Bologna by Cesarine?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bologna can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bologna and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cook Pasta & Tiramisu in a Local Home in Bologna by Cesarine start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bologna within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bologna?
+
On Outty we rank every Bologna experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bologna Local Pasta Cooking Class, Ragu, Spritz, Wine & Gelato, Bologna Food Experience: Factory tours & Lunch By Italian Days, Small Group Bologna Food Tour – Local Food & Market Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bologna?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bologna?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Cook Pasta & Tiramisu in a Local Home in Bologna by Cesarine?
