No show for tour

The tour operator didn’t show. I also messaged them and got no reply. I also emailed Viator requesting a refund and got no reply. Very disappointed.

Great, know how a community struggles to generate employment for its youth through art

Meet a magical place full of culture and value how a community wanted to rescue space from violence through art

Very Disappointing Experience

Having researched the many companies offering this tour we booked with Medellin Soul Tours to do this tour on our last day in Medellin. We received a text at 9.30pm the night before cancelling the tour but offering an alternative experience in Communa 13 with a meeting time of 8.15am the next morning which we opted to join. We arrived bright and early at the designated meeting place only to receive a WhatsApp message at 7.45am advising that this experience too has been cancelled. Fortunately we have been able to salvage the situation and book the tour, last minute, through another tour company otherwise we would have missed out on this ‘must do’ Medellín experience.

What a patch!

Recommended 100%! I'm from Medellin and I hadn't had the opportunity to go... I was surprised by the patch! Feeling every corner, hearing their stories and living the talent we have in our city is absurd! Thank you for giving us the best tour and telling us what is behind each wall! Thanks 🙌🏻💙

Response from the operator: Muchas gracias por la buena energía parcera. La 13 es tu casa

Great tour!

We fell in love with Comuna 13 and all the transformation that has been made around art and music! I 100% recommend this tour. You’ll get to experience public transport, cable car, metro, the Comuna 13 with all of its artists and a delicious popsicle! We went on a Saturday morning and the vibes were great. Our tour guide David was pretty nice and gave us great information and he got us to make our own graffiti signature!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your comment. What a good vibe!!

Comuna 13, Graffiti tour Medellin: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Medellín.

How much does Comuna 13, Graffiti tour Medellin cost?

+

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Medellín usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Comuna 13, Graffiti tour Medellin take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Medellín is not rushed.

Is Comuna 13, Graffiti tour Medellin worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Medellín, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Comuna 13, Graffiti tour Medellin?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Comuna 13, Graffiti tour Medellin suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Comuna 13, Graffiti tour Medellin?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Medellín can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Medellín and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Comuna 13, Graffiti tour Medellin start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Medellín within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Medellín?

+

On Outty we rank every Medellín experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guatapé Tour: Piedra del Peñol with Boat Tour, Breakfast, Lunch, Half-Day Coffee Tour: From the Seed to the Cup, Farm & roastery, Private Guatape & Coffee Farm Tour: The Two Must do in One Day. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Medellín?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Medellín?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
