Highly Recommend!
The Falconry Class and Demonstration was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Right from the start, we were picked up by Ty - our outgoing and friendly driver - who shared in our excitement with his enthusiasm. Ty brought us to our Falconer, Scott, who greeted us at the van with a falcon perched on his arm. Scott was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. His passion and expertise made the demonstration especially memorable. It was so much more than we expected, with experiences we had not anticipated. Getting up close to these beautiful creatures was something we will always remember.

Great Falconry Experience
This was a unique and amazing experience. We learned a lot about the birds and were able to see some of their abilities up close. I would highly recommend this outing - we had a wonderful experience.

A MUST GO experience
I’d heard a lot about this experience and was skeptical it could live up to the hype. However, it exceeded expectations; this was an unforgettable experience in terms of an educational experience and was nothing short of an awe-inspiring encounter with remarkable birds of prey. Scott was a stellar guide who was equally engaging for kids (12-14 year olds) and adults. Do not hesitate. Book it!

What an amazing experience! Core memories made!
Absolutely amazing experience! Very informative, staff were wonderful and knew so much about the birds! This was the highlight of our trip! Myself and my 9-year-old went and the memories will last a lifetime! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! It was more than I expected and we came away with new falcon and hawk knowledge and facts! As well as, pictures and videos of the beautiful birds in action! Huge thank you to Scott and Nicole who were both great! Scott is not only an expert in falconry and highly knowledgeable , but he is an amazing educator and made sure each person got to see the birds up close and answer any questions we had! Take the time, spend the money, and go to Falconry class - you will not regret it!

Colorado Springs Hands-On Falconry Class and Demonstration: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Colorado Springs.
How much does Colorado Springs Hands-On Falconry Class and Demonstration cost?
+
Prices start at $217 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Colorado Springs usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Colorado Springs Hands-On Falconry Class and Demonstration take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Colorado Springs is not rushed.
Is Colorado Springs Hands-On Falconry Class and Demonstration worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 332 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Colorado Springs, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Colorado Springs Hands-On Falconry Class and Demonstration?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Colorado Springs Hands-On Falconry Class and Demonstration suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Colorado Springs Hands-On Falconry Class and Demonstration?
+
Around 116 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Colorado Springs can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Colorado Springs and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Colorado Springs Hands-On Falconry Class and Demonstration start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Colorado Springs within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Colorado Springs?
+
Colorado Springs runs Pikes Peak cog railway and jeep tours, Garden of the Gods drives and climbs, Manitou Springs walks, zip lines and Royal Gorge day trips. On Outty we rank every Colorado Springs experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pikes Peak Jeep Tour, Classic Food Tour in Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods Jeep Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Colorado Springs?
+
May to September, with cog railway seats selling out in July and August. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Colorado Springs?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
