    Pikes Peak Jeep tour

This jeep tour was so much fun. It allowed us the pleasure of riding up with the top down to enjoy all of the views and most importantly, without the stress of driving up ourselves on those hairpin turns or looming over the edge. We could really focus on all the beauty around us. Our guide was full of information and stories on the ride. We never felt rushed and we made several stops along the way up. Kelly also had waters for us if needed and she took several couples photos for us with our camera. It was a great trip!

Response from the operator: Thanks for the wonderful review. We are glad you thought it was a great trip...and it is!

The views and tour are both stunning.

We absolutely loved our Pikes Peak tour! James was so informativie about the history of Pikes Peak and the nature of the area. Getting to relax in the Jeep and take in all the views instead of concentrating on driving was invaluable. James also gave us recommendations of places to dine or visit in town and we enjoyed everything he recommended. Highly recommend this tour it is well worth the money!

Response from the operator: Thanks Kathy. It is much more enjoyable to sit back and take in the views without having to worry about the road. Glad you enjoyed the tour and also glad you enjoyed the recommendations!

    Great experience with John.

We had a wonderful tour with John today. He was fantastic and of course the mountain was breathtaking. Highly recommend. We had a little problem finding the parking lot and called and James stayed on the phone with us to make sure we got there ok. Great experience from both James and a John.

Response from the operator: Thanks Cathy. I never knew the meeting place could be difficult for some people to find. I think the alleyway access makes it confusing. But glad we got you there and glad you enjoyed the tour with John. It was our pleasure

    Wowowow!

Such a great way to do the climb. We’re extremely glad we booked. The views were amazing and our driver knew everything we needed to know.

Response from the operator: Thanks Rachel. We do share so much information. It's actually common that someone will ask me a question about something and I say I'll talk about that later in the tour. Ha. We are glad you enjoyed the tour!

Pikes Peak Jeep Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Colorado Springs.

How much does Pikes Peak Jeep Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Colorado Springs usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pikes Peak Jeep Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Colorado Springs is not rushed.

Is Pikes Peak Jeep Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 91 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 588 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Colorado Springs, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pikes Peak Jeep Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Pikes Peak Jeep Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pikes Peak Jeep Tour?

    +

Around 206 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Colorado Springs can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Colorado Springs and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pikes Peak Jeep Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Colorado Springs within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Colorado Springs?

    +

Colorado Springs runs Pikes Peak cog railway and jeep tours, Garden of the Gods drives and climbs, Manitou Springs walks, zip lines and Royal Gorge day trips. On Outty we rank every Colorado Springs experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Classic Food Tour in Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods Jeep Tour, Signature Fins Course Scenic Zipline Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Colorado Springs?

    +

May to September, with cog railway seats selling out in July and August. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Colorado Springs?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
