We produced chocolate!
Beautiful experience. David guided us in choosing the tour. Sebastian picked us up at the hotel and told us about the culture and different climates and zones of the region. We visited Julia's cocoa farm, harvested cocoa, produced chocolate, and also tried many citrus fruits that we did not know. We also visited Uber and roasted our own coffee. Beautiful experience
Response from the operator: Gracias, Cami, qué gusto leer vuestro comentario y saber que les gustó.

WORTH IT A MILLION PERCENT. TRULY AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!
Me and my husband did a one day trip involving the tour of a family run cacao and coffee farm. The guide, Omar, was simply amazing in all the ways he could be: very knowledgeable and extremely warm hearted. Sebastian drove us without losing his focus for a second, making us feeling safe and letting us enjoying the beautiful and constantly evolving landscape scenery. The experience at the farms was also fantastic! We’ve learned so much and actually took an active part of all the process of cacao and coffee production. On top of that we were able to taste the final products: from land to our mouth directly! It was beautiful! Last but not least: the families of the farms were 1. Knowledgeable and willing to teach with patience and grace. 2.super kind, we’ve felt treated like family, having some good laughter together! Suggested 100%, worth it every dollar!
Response from the operator: Hi Sofia, thank you for this wonderful review. We truly appreciate it.

We made own cacao and coffe
We were on the "Complete 2-Day Coffee and Cocoa Experience" in August. It was amazing! Our guide Omar was incredible, he told me about many things during the trip. We were by two very friendly familiy, and we learned a lot about biorganic farming, fruits and coffie beans. We made chocholate and coffie too. We visited a small coffeshop too on top of the mountian at 4000m, this was very surreal for me, I loved it. The whole program was awesome, and now if we drink a coffe we know how much work is needed to create it.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Lilla. I will tell Omar, Sebastian and the families about your nice review. We appreciate it.

An Experience Rich in Flavors
Our tour guide, Omar, was 100% dedicated, incredibly knowledgeable in all relevant topics, going above and beyond to be helpful throughout the journey. Our driver, Sebastian, was a real professional. He made everyone feel safe and comfortable at all times. Day 1: The Perez family coffee farm. Don Hubert took time out of his busy day to personally guide us, sharing his knowledge of coffee varieties at the farm. He was happy to answer questions about sustainable farming practices at the finca. It was truly fascinating to watch the Perez family in action, demonstrating a variety of coffee processing and brewing methods. Their passion and dedication to their craft is inspiring and fun to witness firsthand. We stayed the night at Waranway Lodge Huayopata. The place was rustic and beautiful. In addition to a comfortable room, our hostess amazed us with a delicious dinner, cooked in a wood-fired oven. The flavors were on par with the top-rated restaurants in Cuzco, if not better! Muchísimas gracias! Day 2: Julia and Jose's cacao farm. Cacao farm experience was rich in flavor. Don Jose introduced us a variety of medicinal herbs and exotic fruits. It was interesting to see the full life cycle of a cocoa tree. Julia's and Jose's passion for biodiversity was truly engaging. It might be that the hands-on element: roasting and grinding chuncho beans, made our freshly prepared chocolate more delicious than any other. The flavor pairings for chocolate were spot on--each one revealing something new about the richness of the cocoa. Speaking of flavors, Doña Julia’s home-style vegetarian dishes were absolutely delicious!¡Qué rico! This coffee and cacao tour gave us a real taste of life on the farms. We came away with a lasting impressions, after hands-on experiences making coffee and chocolate almost from scratch. Mil gracias! La experiencia de visitar sus fincas fue realmente especial. Nos sentimos muy afortunados de haber elegido estos tours de café y cacao entre todas las opciones posibles en Perú.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much, Pille. We truly appreciate that you took the time to write this comment. We let the team know. They will be happy for sure. regards David
