The most HORRIBLE night of our honeymoon.
Absolutely horrible. Coco Bongo did not have our reservations that “Viator” Charged us for. Paid $450 for a package that you can get at your hotel for $300. We had to fight and argue and almost be told to leave just to get access. They said that the packages “Viator” sells on their site do not exist. We finally got in and didn’t receive any of the services we thought we’re included in the package we purchased. I am calling my credit card company and complaining about the services we expected and we didn’t receive. I expect a full refund for “Viator” absolutely ruining the last night of our Honeymoon!!! Do not purchase this package from this site. Get it at your hotel cheaper and your tickets will be real.
Response from the operator: please tell me why it was so terrible about the coco bongo in punta cana city tours.. ?

I GOT RIPPED OFF
Hello, I made a reservation for the 02nd of January in which I called in advance giving all the data to be collected and never went. I contacted them and they said that the next day, there was poor coordination with their staff. I expect them changed again and neither. They were collected and everything but I already made the respective complaint through my payment. I hope TripAdvisor takes this Enterprise as a fraud as they mock the customer.
Response from the operator: We apologize for the situation you experience with us. We please and Happy if you accept our offer to your next vacation with our Travel Agency with a PREMIUM 20% off on your next vacation with a Luxury transport round trip for a couple. you will appreciate this experience and will also understand that we learn from our mistakes every single day. please email us so we can process your coupon for the year 2020. we appreciate your business.

What a night !
we booked the Gold Member tickets which included a seat and premium drinks. a few reviews did not rate this but we found it perfect. we were picked up from our hotel on time, and collected other guests from other hotels en route. then a 10 minute drive to Coco Bongo. on arrival we were told the meeting point and time by our driver, and dropped off right at the entrance, dancers on podiums set the mood straight away. we were given our wrist bands, and a quick security check and we were in, we were given a complimentary shot, and shown towards the stage area, and other free drink and a couple more quick security checks and we were shown to our seats on the fist level balcony, introduced to our waiter and sat back to enjoy the show. there were around 12 dancers on the floor stage while everyone was being seated etc. then around 11pm the show started, and did not stop for the next 4.5hours The Greatest Showman Beetlejuice The Mask Madonna Moulin Rouge Spiderman Batman suspension dancing, and silks DJ the entertainment just kept coming, we had a great view of everything going on, whether on the floor stage or raised stage our seats and view were perfect, alos we were 10ft from the toilets, which were attended and clean. likewise the drinks were never allowed to get empty and we were constantly checked on to see if we needed anything. the whole evening was great from start to finish. yes the "singers" performed to backing tracks, but this is not Las Vegas, and the team work very hard to put on a good show, which they did in our opinion we would recommend this to anyone.

Worst experience
I am staying at Ibero Star Grand and when I tell you the worst experience ever going to CoCo Bongo, from beginning to end the driver spoke no English so we didn’t know the bus number or where to be pick up when Club let out so we paid a Cab Home. No direction when we got off the bus we had to find our way. We paid almost $300 for two ppl for premium liquor why did we do that premium Ha Ha Ha I never even heard of the liquors they were offering so all I drank was water.l, we asked for patron and had to pay extra on top of the $256 we already paid. Then the worst thing they asked for us to dance on stage and as much as I said no I finally agreed I get on stage and they blow my skirt up for the whole club to see I was embarrassed and humiliated. I have a job and children god for bid people filmed me and put me on the Internet. I would never return to this establishment they need to learn something from Mexico it was totally different and very organized and much bigger. Also Do not get Gold package it’s not worth it here the liquor is bottom shelf. Hopefully Amstar can help me with this I reported with them Today as well.

Why this scores 39
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Coco Bongo Show and Disco: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.
How much does Coco Bongo Show and Disco cost?
+
Prices start at $185 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Coco Bongo Show and Disco take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.
Is Coco Bongo Show and Disco worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 39 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Coco Bongo Show and Disco?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Coco Bongo Show and Disco suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Coco Bongo Show and Disco?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Coco Bongo Show and Disco start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?
+
On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Punta Cana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
