Immersion into the heart of Cochin
Big shout out for our tourguide and driver Riyad! He navigated us safely to the most interesting and diverse places - from the markets to an ancient laundry, from places of worship to the Chinese nets, from the fort to spice central. But the highlight was without a doubt a visit of his family home. The whole experience was a true immersion into this bustling, multicultural and colourful part of India.

Fantastic local host (tuk tuk)
I did not actually have them pick me up from a cruise ship, but as an avid cruiser I am posting under this classification anyway since this would be a great shore excursion. It's the same experience whether you arrive by land or sea. My Tuk-tuk driver, Shaji, was such a great host. His knowledge of the cultural, military and religious history of the area is amazing. He even explained the meaning behind the names of places and things, and the history of the names. Not only that, he treated me to sampling of a few local foods along the way as he knows the "safe" vendors. Delicious! A very kind and helpful man and a wonderful local host.

Excellent tour
I was picked up at port and taken on a wonderful tour of Cochin by my lovely driver /tour guide who informed me of places we visited. Very impressed with the company and would certainly use them again.

Disappointed
We booked two Tuk Tuks to collect us from the cruise ship. On arriving at port we were transferred by a small coach to a lay by on the outskirts of the city where several Tuk Tuks were parked. The tour began, our driver spoken reasonable English but our friends driver spoke no English. We asked to tour in convoy which proved to be the best thing as our friends were able to listen to our guides information - without this their tour would have been meaningless Such a shame as the other postings for this company led us to expect good service and a fantastic time..

Super Tour
We took the tour with acquaintances. Pick up at the port on time and reliably. The tourist attractions are great. We were even allowed to catch up with the fishnets! When our TucTuc once did not want to come get us the 2nd and drove us on. We then got a replacement and at the next stop our TucTuc was repaired and ready for reuse. Top!
